Makes sense why they've been focusing mainly on individual clubs now, doesn't it?
Nah they don't. If you play a game at Old Trafford you could have your fantasy team getting off the bus and walking in.
Yeah you guys could be right. They could be scenes you see whilst the match is being set up. *Sigh now I'm depressed againIn a logical perspective, you're right. But I still see it is just an addition to the added warming up cutscenes in the ONLINE game test or whatever it was called...

"Taking PES to a whole new level"Didn't Konami say the delay was so that they could build a game designed for next-gen?
I had to do some digging, to make sure I wasn't going mad.
The PES 2021 "season update" was announced with a statement that said:
"Konami is currently 'hard at work' on a next-gen PES game that will take the franchise 'to a whole new level' with more realistic player models, animations, enhanced physics, photorealistic visuals, and more."
See this article from Gamesradar, for example.
This one from Eurogamer says it was "to focus on a full next-gen version due next year".
Sometimes we kick Konami when they're down, and Evo-Web has a reputation of being "the place people go to hate PES".
But I mean... Even for Konami... That's a pretty low blow, isn't it? "Buy our game so we can work on a truly next-gen verhahahaha, sorry, version."
It was an outright lie..........
With whay we have so far and the talented modders, I think PES 2021 is on its way to be PES6 v2 which means we have gone far but still more possibilities to experience... Some modders have came so close to add a promotion/relegation to added leagues to the database so yeah...I would love to know how far we can realistically go with mods for Pes 21.
I would not be suprised if they're focusing on exclusive club licenses entirely.Makes sense why they've been focusing mainly on individual clubs now, doesn't it?
why would you do that!? its the only positive PES related thing we have now (besides the old games)!Where to delete my own evo-web acc?
Apparently, the graphic aspect (kits, faces, textures aren't that of a big problem) the issue here is AI, gameplay etc... Yes some games have been partially re-made in UE (eg. Among Us, Google Chrome Dinosaur...) but PES is a big ass game, loads and loads of commands are required to feel the great amazing gameplay again.Hi Ho... Hi Ho... back to PES 5 we go!
I wish I knew someone that could bring PES 5 to the Unreal Engine and yes I am being serious. So we get the same fantastic gameplay we had from that game, updated Kits, Teams, Squads, Stadiums and its all decked in the latest Unreal Engine (rather than the previous version which Konami are using and BADLY using).
if only.....
RIP PES.
I'm so sorry, TG.
There are so many people here who still loved PES, for all it did right, despite the flaws. It was you guys I thought of first, when watching the trailer and it started to sink in, that PES is no more. All of the hard-working editors too, guys like @Hawke who keep us playing.
I think of the truly incredible job @The_Knight did with his PES 2021 realism analysis videos. The passion that goes into it. The hope.
Crushed under the boot of a kid who needs a new toy after losing on Fortnite, and knows who Messi is from the Pepsi Max adverts.
It's truly heartbreaking and I'm so sad for you guys - and for this community that I love.
Still, I play PES 3, 4, 5 and 6 often in my own time, they're timeless classics.
Posted this about 4/5 hours before the announcement - all the news seemed to be heading this way. But the actual news is even worse than this.I'm all but convinced this is what we're getting:
1) PES 2022 F2P in September. I think Konami are going to try to go the Fortnite route - make a free game that anyone can play and really try to push that to everyone and "build hype"
2) By the end of the year they will release an offline next gen version hoping that the free to play fans will buy the full version.
