YepAlso, Konami no longer has the license of Serie A Tim? Is that right??
In my opinion, I don't think so. They have thrown their PES-called twitter account into the bin. But I hope you're rightI'm still thinking: tonight they will announce PES 2022 and this eFootball is just the spin-off of the PES series
And this game only has 9 teamsThat was laughably bad. Where do you even begin to start?
I'd like to say it's been an enjoyable ride, but if we're being honest there hasn't been a decent PES since 2013. Absolute shambles of an IP that needs to be retired.
It's not even sure there will be any licensed leagues at all. Probably just a few more licensed Teams... or Team-Packs...
We need another studio to make a football game.We had a good run though, right?
Didn't Konami say the delay was so that they could build a game designed for next-gen?
I had to do some digging, to make sure I wasn't going mad.
The PES 2021 "season update" was announced with a statement that said:
"Konami is currently 'hard at work' on a next-gen PES game that will take the franchise 'to a whole new level' with more realistic player models, animations, enhanced physics, photorealistic visuals, and more."
See this article from Gamesradar, for example.
This one from Eurogamer says it was "to focus on a full next-gen version due next year".
Sometimes we kick Konami when they're down, and Evo-Web has a reputation of being "the place people go to hate PES".
But I mean... Even for Konami... That's a pretty low blow, isn't it? "Buy our game so we can work on a truly next-gen verhahahaha, sorry, version."
It was an outright lie..........
The thing with 'a whole new level'.... They kind of delivered ....Didn't Konami say the delay was so that they could build a game designed for next-gen?

Who’s gunna just switch to fifa or just bin the whole idea of playing a football game now?
It will probably run on a Pentium 3 and Windows 98to the guy who promised the PC would get the next-gen version of PES. As it's going to have to work on mobiles, it'll probably work on a £150 laptop.
