eFootball (All Platforms)

I'm wondering what their excuse will be to reset everyone's MyClub (or whatever they call it) team will be now that it's probably a continuous product without yearly releases now.

One of the reasons these modes are so lucrative is that every year people reset their teams to zero and spend again from scratch.

If you've spent enough to fill your team with 95+ rated players and it's not reset each year then why would you bother spending more years down the line?

Maybe they'll use some licensing excuse to say players are only valid until a certain date so they can carry on resetting people's teams.

Easy. This year's "season one". When licenses run out, september next year will become "season two" with a small amount of gameplay changes. Everything will be reset - possibly even with a new client to download, "eFootball 2", to make it feel like it's a necessity - and if you don't like it, go play FIFA.

I've never played a single match or spent a single penny on MyClub; I've logged in about 5-6 times and my team this year is full of 95+ players.

They're going to have to slow down the rewards if they don't reset teams.

Only Konami. Only Konami could take a globally famous and respected series such as PES, be given the opportunity with the power of PC's and next-gen consoles these days, to create a truly rich, immersive, realistic portrayal of the sport, and end up actually delivering a free mobile game that also runs on consoles.

Only Konami.

That was laughably bad. Where do you even begin to start?

I'd like to say it's been an enjoyable ride, but if we're being honest there hasn't been a decent PES since 2013. Absolute shambles of an IP that needs to be retired.

PES was like a time bomb.

Konami's other franchie like Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hills got fucked.

It was only a matter of time till the cancer reached Winning Eleven.

Goodbye evoweb and PES. It's been a long ride, some fun and some not.

Take care everyone and wish you all the best.

They could do what Fortnite/FIFA does and start incorporating celebrities, cross overs from other sports and even fictional characters like Batman and Terminator into myclub and make kids want to spend money to land those players!

This will happen eventually, read this part of the official interview from IGN:

"As someone who's dabbled in PES for a very long time, I have a fondness for its earlier, stranger days, when peerless simulation was often balanced with true weirdness, like being able to field an entire team of players in penguin costumes. I ask Kimura if the free-to-play future allows for some of those odder impulses to pop up again in eFootball, as paid cosmetics perhaps. I get a more hopeful answer than expected: "There are no plans to do so currently. However, if there is a lot of demand for it, it may be on the roadmap in the future."

Nah.... Winning Eleven in Japan? They love Pachinko Arcade Games Dude. They love to spend money on this crap.
Speak of the devil, Pachinko machines.

I bet when Ps6 comes, there wont even be F2P eFootball.

It will be eFootball pachinko machines lol. Now with pachinko balls looking like footballs.
