I am gutted. I play NBA2K and PES almost every year, but now there is nothing new for 2K PC player and PES is dead. I am very very gutted.

The silver lining tho, i can stay with 2K21 and PES2021 while using the money for buying new edition of Football Manager from the very beginning of the cycle and F1 Game. I hope you all find your own silver lining yourself. Stay healthy everyone!

This will happen eventually, read this part of the official interview from IGN:

"As someone who's dabbled in PES for a very long time, I have a fondness for its earlier, stranger days, when peerless simulation was often balanced with true weirdness, like being able to field an entire team of players in penguin costumes. I ask Kimura if the free-to-play future allows for some of those odder impulses to pop up again in eFootball, as paid cosmetics perhaps. I get a more hopeful answer than expected: "There are no plans to do so currently. However, if there is a lot of demand for it, it may be on the roadmap in the future."

I've put my expectations way below already, and yet I'm still this disappointed, sad, furious, anger, devastated, raging anything, any negatives emotions you can ever mention, I can understand their way of thinking by making the game Free To Play with modes like ML BAL becoming the DLC, making the game cross platform, but WHY mobile, why should you include them,, maybe it would make the myClub contents a lot more easier to manage, since you just have to made one for every platform, for every generations, but still, it would downgrade the mechanism, gameplay, graphics, everything, to a whole new low.

2 years of wait, hoping for a new game at 2020 and yet it's only a season update, but they put out a promise of a freshly made game with Unreal Engine, they made it Season Update so that they would only need to focus with the development of the new game, for a fresh ML, alright fine I guess, more more wait, then all of these shithouses pops up, u mention them, NFG, this trailer, many staffs leaving, damn. Everyday looking at this thread, refreshing it, looking for any news of PES22, wait and waiting, and this is what they came up with.

I guess this is purely done because of their market being the younger ones, the ones that only cares about online mode, and yeah I'm one of them, I mean the age sectors, but I'm myself more into Master League, yeah maybe FIFA UT can be fun because of my age, fighting against other people etc but still for PES I prefer their Offline Modes, and this is what they came up with, and I played PES since 2011, having lots of fun playing ML, playing exhibition with my siblings, so much fun, and now it's all gone, even if there's going to be DLC I doubt it would be anything special.

I think we can say safely that, RIP PES. Cheers to any of u reading this, just purely my thoughts after eating all the news and everything all these few hours. Sigh.

A free-to-play shite game with paid DLC to play Master League (which isn't that bad) and animations which doesn't look good AT ALL. Geeez, I'm sad but everyone saw this coming, RIP Winning Eleven/PES, it was a fun ride.

At least I still have Football Manager to play, hope the game still good for a while.

On a similar vein, the very first bit of match footage in Konami's reveal showed the ball being passed from kick-off back to a defender - maybe it was just me but the physics looked off, like the ball was rolling far too slow and not looking realistic. The beta felt really floaty, too. PES21 seemed way better in this regard (as did PES17->20). So the physics is not even looking good even as a simplified 1-v-1 game.
