Man, it really hurt watching that trailer - the realisation that PES, quite literally, is no more. The game in recent years has had it's flaws (a whole lot of them), but it's still the gaming franchise I've sunk the most amount of hours in to, whether it's through small personal projects like gameplay mods or actually playing the game.

Thoughts go out to all the awesome guys on here that sink countless hours in to creating an enjoyable PES experience for thousands of people through modding, as well as the various different communities we have such as the FUMA squad lol! Being pretty young myself, it's been so cool to have a community of others around that appreciate this game especially as everyone around me sees no further than FUT! But it really feels like there's no going back from here. It's undeniable at this point, PES is a platform to be invested in now, no longer a game to be enjoyed.

Technically you can. Basically what you can do is for mobile you let users download a cloud gaming client made specifically for PES and they play game through the streaming client. Takes less space but requires great connection.

You know the way they love recycling stuff and introducing it as new features? There'a still hope that, in 10-15 years, when no one remembers Master League anymore, they will bring it it as a new feature!
We just need to stay healthy and eat out 5 fruits a day!

Long time member of evoweb even if I'm not active at all these years. Having taken the time to read about all the new changes and having digested it all, I feel sick in my stomach. I can echo the general sentiment I've been reading on this site, the direction taken by Konami is soul destroying and incredibly disappointing. RIP PES, my favorite ever game, the game franchise I've played the most in my entire life has been completely gutted and obliterated.

Nobody will crucify you. There are always positives to everything.
Maybe this game turns out to be good in the long run, maybe Konami make adjustments the community asks for more quickly this time. They cite four times as many animations as the last entry, let's see how that manifests when it is released.

The game is Free To Play, so at least we can give it a go and delete if we don't like it, instead of spending money and being disappointed.

But this trailer did nothing to remove the dread of seeing a product that we as a community had hyped up for two years.
Lighting was weird, shadows missing in the locker room and on the pitch, slidey animations, graphics being underwhelming, faces looking worse than before etc.

But maybe they sort these things out with time and maybe we get a good football game from Konami again sometime in the future.
Until then though we can only reminisce about older PES entries and hope that PES21 receives the community support it deserves.

There is no way to show the discontent of the community with this game shit?

Even if it is passed up their ass, it would be the only consolation for a player who has been playing and buying their games from snes.
 
What's even sadder is this will probably do well enough for them to justify all their decisions. Konami already have enough data from the F2P versions of the previous games to know exactly what the profit per user is on that myclub business model. Losing us is irrelevant to them really. I wonder how someone like Adam feels who still works at Konami knowing all this. He's a true professional but this must hurt him as much as anyone

Me too pal. I bought a PS5 just for PES. I was extremely gutted when I saw the NFGOPT. But, never thought that they would ruthlessly kill my most favourite game of all time.

The game has given me so much memories and has comforted me even in my worst times. My pain is beyond words.

Is anyone realistically waiting around for that? If they dangle the ML carrot in-front of us and anyone bites, given that the AI is now made for online play, I'll be sad to see it. If you like myClub, and you care more about fun than football, you might like eFootball. If you don't, you won't.
 
One would think that if Master League comes as a paid DLC - it will at least be decent.
But I dont think so. Its all blatant lies.

Even Iniesta footage is from two years ago. He probably doesnt even work with them anymore
 
I say the master league game mode will be the exact same as pes2020 with no new features and they will look for 20 euro to purchase it are they having a laugh ..I’m actually so annoyed and will not be playing this game ..really hope a different company sees a gap in the market to release a new football game the chances are slim
 
You know what? I Just wanted a game on par on what the current nextgen tech could offer and nothing Else.

If master league and some licensed leagues come with packs, so be it. It is not all that bad If you think about It. For example, I have zero interest on "be a pro mode" or one or two leagues. If that means that I can get Exactly what I want for a cheap fractioned price, this is good from a Walket standpoint. I Just want the PS5 version to look like a PS5 version. Thats It!

Yeah if Master League was a standalone "experience" that you had to purchase, but you knew it was getting a lot of dev time, I wouldn't mind to be honest. But it's probably gonna be 2021's ML with new cutscenes and possibly worse AI.

i can see the exact same old master league making a return for money! not the really old one, the good one, but the one from the last couple of years! they wont miss on that "less effort, more income" constellation!
