Improvements
  • Sdk: Update FC25 SDK to Release version

  • Improve: Switched to a "HasChanged" system so EBX only saves after losing focus
Fixes
  • Fix: Error when reloading OpenedFile after import & add async loading (fixing issue raised by @Anth James)
  • Fix: Missing data (parts of mods) when compiling mods (fixing issue raised by @Gpdp_7920)
Notes
  • FC 25: This version of the game has introduced hashed "legacy files". You CANNOT reverse a hash. Therefore we will never know the true names of these files by via traditional reading. I have done what I can to detect file types and display all files. I am in communication with FIFER (FIFA Editor Tool) to somehow have a way to create our own database of known names. More information in will come in future updates.
  • FC 25: Mesh editing remains blocked until I figure out a fix. More information in a future update.
  • FC 25: Localization is now encrypted
  • FC 25: DB is now encrypted
Gameplay
For those wondering about gameplay mod. I am constantly tweaking gameplay until I am happy with it. I found a few things I really wanted to cut out or fix before releasing so I'll try and get it ready tomorrow or Sunday. There's a lot going on with my family life (IRL in general) so it may be delayed. Will let you know :)

Here it comes, first gameplay release of FC 25.

Now I'll be honest, I am not completely happy with the finished product and the changes EA did between the closed beta and final release. However, it's the start of the journey of tweaking the gameplay to how I like it. Hopefully, the other gameplay modders will come up with something soon for you guys to chose your favourite style.

- Slowed all movement animation speeds
- Slowed down movement whilst dribbling slightly
- Slowed down movement without the ball significantly
- Increased the gap between slow and fast players (stop slow defenders catching fast wingers)
-- Passing --
- Decreased accuracy of all passes for all players dependant on attribute
-- Crossing --
- Decreased accuracy of all crosses for all players depandant on attribute
-- Shooting --
- Decreased accuracy of all shots for all players dependant on attribute
-- Positioning --
- Slowed down the amount players move up after getting back possession
- Ensured midfielders always come back to help defend
- Ensured players with the "Stay Back" IQ will always stay back when in possession
- Ensured wingers and wide midfielders always come back to help defend
- Ensured False 9 players always come back to defend
- Ensured crossers always have a player in the box to cross to (WIP)

- Lowered the chance of a yellow card
- Increased a chance for a foul to be called from a standing tackle

- Increased the chance for AI to make a mistake

Et voilà, la première version de gameplay de FC 25.

Maintenant, je vais être honnête, je ne suis pas complètement satisfait du produit fini et des changements apportés par EA entre la bêta fermée et la version finale. Cependant, c'est le début du voyage pour peaufiner le gameplay comme je l'aime. J'espère que les autres moddeurs de gameplay proposeront bientôt quelque chose pour que vous puissiez choisir votre style préféré.

-- Mouvement --

- Ralentissement de toutes les vitesses d'animation de mouvement
- Mouvement ralenti tout en dribblant légèrement
- Mouvement considérablement ralenti sans le ballon
- Augmentation de l'écart entre les joueurs lents et rapides (empêche les défenseurs lents d'attraper les ailiers rapides)

- Diminution de la précision de toutes les passes pour tous les joueurs en fonction de l'attribut

Out of interest (more "football game nerd" question than anything else), what changed between beta and release? I'm guessing the speed went up...
 
i try to make license mods for FC25 but when i search inter and milan minikits it's does not show in legacy files, any help?

filenames are now hashed. you will have to find them in the unknown section

ball, players and animation speed increase. much easier to score and pass. AI is a little more one dimensional.

what seems to be the case is that the game designers and gameplay engineers make a good football game. then someone somewhere tells them its "wrong" and they change it back to usual FIFA.
 
Thanks for the mod Paul. I appreciate you since I started playing Fifa back in the day. Also hope you and your family are alright.

About the mod. I played since you posted the mod and I really love what I am seeing so far. One thing that is worrying is the attackers acceleration is instant but the defenders (Player defenders) take way too long to accelerate and when they do the attacker is already 1v1. Worth mentioning that I was playing Ligue 1 (Lyon vs Lille) and Mikautaze or Lacazete were just blowing past my defenders it was no way to stop them.

Awesome stuff. Btw, are you able to make a CPU v CPU mod? This would be awesome to use, with the new roles/tactics for Career Mode. Think it could be really fun this year, to watch games like FM.
 
I tested the mod but with classic settings on the sliders the old problem of it being easy to run out and enter the area returns, apart from the excessive number of kicks, I think the mod would have to be based on simulation mode as the game is completely different, In custom mode it wasn't good for me, I really thought the AI was a little dumb, giving it a lot of space!
 
Yes, I agree, but it's just that there are really a lot of gaps, runs and kicks, I think football is based on compaction and marking and with the mod it's become very easy to shoot gaps and beat the defense with crazy runs, but I really congratulate you for your effort in always want to bring an improvement to the game, thank you!

Nobody is forcing you to use this mod or certain settings. Its just what I use.

I would explain to you my thoughts (on settings and simulation mode) but its kinda pointless. People have their opinions.

Hi Paul, I appreciate the first GP Mod in your thread. I like the settled Gamespeed. It was the absolute No.1 downer for me the last days with Vanilla Gameplay. Now it´s a great base build up and I returned yesterday back to the Game.
I really would like to know your thoughts on settings and simulation mode. Me, I can´t find that in depth improvement from the sim mode. I fiddled a lot around with different settings but the output seems to be just "less" for a general overhaul from last years Fc 24. I had really the feeling from the early access Game Version over the first EA Update close before the official release EA have taken away the "promising" start this season from the game. I am consider to downgrade my Game back to the Version I played on 20th of September.

Been tensed what your next Versions provides us. And guys @Ezequiel Vanzin and @cristobal64 please don´t forget it´s a first Mod release. WHere in the FIFA/FC world is finished with his work after a first Version by any modders around? :))
Also Paul mentioned in his OP for Version 1 that he is not fully satisfied with the state of the game and the Mod based on EA´s source Gameplay.
Sure there is always space for changes, but honestly I am glad to have decreased Gamespeed. And also I have the feeling while playing the spaces between the lines in my team are closer and not that freeroam Zone EA gives the AI to do whatever they wanna do.

As always it´s not forbidden to experiment by our own with modes and settings. But I hardly guess Paul knows why he recommend that mode and settings he provided in his Mod.
 
As incredible as it may seem, I used the mod in simulation mode and it played well for me, although not recommended, I would just need more speed in the passes and the players' reactions to be a little faster. The rest I really liked!

Did you tried to increase the passing power/speed via sliders? What Gaming controller do you use? I am playing with a Ps5 dualsense Controller and the power of passes or shots are really well controllable with the buttons for it. I agree with you, the ground passes needs a bit more holding down my x button on the controller. But currently felt not as a disadvantage in my game. Sometimes I play even short passes with my triangle button which is the "through pass" button on my layout. Than the pass reaches also my next team mate.
Oh and do you play full manually or assisted controlled?? Since I switched to FUMA 2 years ago the meaning of the right dose how long I push my buttons are somewhat better imo. Feels just more that it´s me who played the pass or shot at goal other than with assisted which the AI helps you scoring goals and stuff. You know what I mean when you are familar with FUMA controls. ;-)

option 1: launch fmt. remove all mods from the launcher list and launch game
option 2: repair game

mainly because "simulation" is just a slider set. slider sets are notorious for breaking many AI related things in FIFA/FC.

I dont think it'll need an update but I will update when I can.
Does it work with steam? It gets stuck at launching.
It >> should << work. I don't use Steam because it just adds a layer of complication to an already painful game to mod.
