April 18th for EUROPE
May 19th for USA
I hope this is true. I also hope we can set controlers to CPU teams when playing a tournament. This ha a been missing from the last few games
USA WILL BE GETTING THIS GAME A MONTH LATER THAN EUROPE
OK, BAP mode rules . The CPU AI has been improved which is superb, as it means this mode really works. That last game I was Gallas and got a 9.8 rating. We won 1-0, scored a superb team goal which Anelka finished off, I think about half the France team had a touch of the ball in the build up, including me . We also put together some quality moves, and had very little threat from the Germans. Guess that's because it's only on semi-pro though .
See, that's weird for me, because if anything, this demo has made me enjoy FIFA08 more!!!
The new match camera seems really dodgy to me. Jerks around and doesn't really follow the action. It's too far away aswell.
The videogame will ship to stores across Europe on April 11 and will be available in North America on May 20 in anticipation of the real-world tournament which begins in June in Austria and Switzerland.
That's an announcement from the 31st of January though, it won't be shipped that early.

Release dates three months in advance nearly always change, unless you're making a game like GTA which is MASSIVE. EA aren't banking on this being massive, they reckon nobody is going to buy it in the UK, JayD says at FIFASoccerBlog.com they're getting very little info from EA because they're focusing on the countries who are actually going to be IN Euro 2008 - thinking that they will buy shedloads, and we will buy one or two.
