It's not just the graphics, PS3 and 360 use a completely different game engine, and no the PC version won't be using it, neither will Fifa09, or Fifa10.........

Thats it - Very rarely in the UK do we get anything before other countries.

We are the last to get everything usually and when we do get it its like 500% more expensive than anywhere else.

It is good to see that player model is getting better, faces are getting better and it looks smoother. The only thing that seems a bit weird is player acceleration, it does look like they have some sort of a roadrunner feeling from the videos. But this franchise is indeed very promising.
 
Hopefully the full version will feature black nets, as will be used in real life at the tournament! :DD
 
Nope, I mean Euro2008 will be using black coloured goal nets in real life as they are the best to see the advertising through. Hopefully the black nets will be in the game!

this is everything i can find for the moment, they are quoting german gaming magazine gamestar (normally reliable) who seem to have got that information directly from the devs.

there is some info here from the developers diary - stating that there will be a lot of different stadia for countries all over europe. for example a small one with mountains in the background for faroer, "creating the atmosphere of something completely new every match you play"

interesting to see if they will really put in that much variety

Kind of disappointing because I just bought a 360 for Fifa...might end up selling it tbh.

Well we dont get the game until a month after the Europe version :TD:, so i guess most of us will be kicked out of those tourneys and have to go back onto the waiting list. Maybe those of us known can get a fast pass back in when we pick it up here! :EASY::w00t:

I googled and found a blog entry linking to that as well, until EA officially announce it some random shit posted on a fansite/blog has zero credibility IMO. The way you posted twice was that EA had officially announced that PC Fifa09 would be next gen, that's misleading.

EA have said that multi-core PCs are needed to run the next gen version, and as they're not standard in peoples homes there is no way that EA will release a game which will reduce PC sales, perhaps the PC version will have better graphics than the PS2/Wii version this time but I don't see the PC version using the full next gen engine and that's a big difference.

neighbours is shite btw, dont know why it gets such a following over there...

and our weather? We've just gone 10 straight days of 36+ degree celsius days here in melbourne...which effectively means i havent slept in 10 days!

Cant deny the ladies though...
