UEFA Champions League 2013/2014

Zenit's is definitely worse - first team to go through with 1 win right?

But, this is supposedly the Elite European teams. Shows the discrepancy when we're supposed to ignore the results from 2 of the 6 matches!

Guys, Champions League (football in general) is a game of luck, mostly. You don't have to be competitive etc, you need to be lucky too, to win and succeed.

Manchester City v Barcelona
Olympiakos v Manchester United
AC Milan v Atletico Madrid
Bayer Leverkusen v PSG
Galatasaray v Chelsea
Schalke v Real Madrid
Zenit v Borussia Dortmund
Arsenal v Bayern Munich

Manchester City v Barcelona
Olympiakos v Manchester United
AC Milan v Atletico Madrid
Bayer Leverkusen v PSG
Galatasaray v Chelsea
Schalke v Real Madrid
Zenit v Borussia Dortmund
Arsenal v Bayern Munich

my forecast for matches:

Manchester City v Barcelona - 1:1, 0:2
Olympiakos v Manchester United - 1:2, 1:4
AC Milan v Atletico Madrid - 0:2, 1:3
Bayer Leverkusen v PSG - 1:0, 0:3
Galatasaray v Chelsea - 2:2, 2:4
Schalke v Real Madrid - 2:3, 0:4
Zenit v Borussia Dortmund - 2:1, 0:5
Arsenal v Bayern Munich - 1:1, 1:4

Okay, no need to get anxious, but my freaking favourite team (after Olympiakos) got drawn against us, and it's the first time since I started watching football that I can go to a match of Manchester United :D :D
AWESOME

That"s not fair! How come Arsenal and City got big dogs and we don't? :(

I am seriously happy with the draw. Chelsea was the best possible opponent to get for my feeling. Sure they are favorites, but I will not be suprised if Galatasaray go through to the quarters. Very nice clash for Drogba!

My forecast:

Manchester City v Barcelona - 2-1, 0-1 (Barcelona go's through)
Olympiakos v Manchester United - 2-1, 1-2 (United will go through on penaltys)
AC Milan v Atletico Madrid - 1-2, 0-3 (Easy for Atletico)
Bayer Leverkusen v PSG - 0-0, 0-3
Galatasaray v Chelsea - 3-2, 1-3 (We are shit in away matches)
Schalke v Real Madrid - 0-3, 0-4 (Easy for Madrid)
Zenit v Borussia Dortmund - 1-1, 0-2
Arsenal v Bayern Munich - 1-2, 0-2

Just heard parts of Wenger's press conference yesterday: Didn't know that he speaks fluent German. My mind = blown.

He's from the Alsace region, only about 25 KM from the German border.

What is up with English teams and knock out CL matches? United, City, Arsenal, Chelsea - every single time there has to be a red card!

This 'triple jeapardy' red card is such a joke. Trust FIFA to get something so wrong. What are defenders/keepers supposed to do?

It's a 50/50 ball. If the striker gets there first, you give a penalty, a red card and a suspension. If the keeper gets there first, it's a simple foul, doubtful even a yellow.

Common sense has no place in FIFA or their rules.

This is not luck ...
Nice to have the best goalkeeper in the world.

A milanistas greeting, we will look at the Calderon

If say Chelsea beat Gala and Atletico beat Milan over two legs, and then they draw each other in the quarter finals can Courtois play against Chelsea?
