Hard to say from pictures really

Say it works well enough but we shall see i guess.

Sony announced there Z4500 200Hz motion flow technology hard to tell if any decent from video.

http://gizmodo.com/5042880/sony-z4500-motionflow-200hz-hdtv-gives-ultra+smooth-video-action

And there Sony KDL-40ZX1 9.9mm thick shame only 1 HDMI and need to run wireless box which has 3 HDMI not for me really but looks smart.

http://gizmodo.com/5042861/sony-zx1-99mm+thick-tv-gives-me-a-large-hadron-collider-right-in-my-pants

Was very much evident a while ago in last show think was CES the future seems to be super thin design for TV now.

^ Dont even think they got much to show off have they ? as there latest 9th Gen is not long out.

Apart from LCD all they got to show but i have no idea if they are there havnt seen any articles on them yet.

CNET reckon that the Z4500 will affordable when its released, the new Samsung's look tasty.

Im close to getting a new PJ

so far its between the Sanyo Z2000 and the Epson TW980

Both 1080p the Sanyo has 15000:1 contrast and the Epson 10000:1

More decisions to make

That Z4500 is exactly the style of telly I want. Thin frame with squared edges. The quality is great as well it seems.

That and the latest KURO's have pretty similar styles. Shame they're so expensive.

I saw a new 50"+ KURO on display today in Selfridges of all places.

Properly set up showing a Blu-Ray of Ratatouille.

It looked beautiful, no other word for it.

I can see why people would pay the £2.5k for it.

Have a look at the Pioneers as well, I'm sure you can get a demo in Derby somewhere from an AV independent :-pp

Yeah Checking out Plasma and LCDs aint a problem :))

Im really not enjoying searching for a PJ or TV

I find one for the right price then i see there is a newer model for a bit more, then i see that there is a better one in a different range and then i see that the new range ones are more expensive and so on and so on

why the fuck cant they just make 1 50"+ TV for each range so its easer to choose!!!!

Guys i am in a dillema...
I am going to get a ps3 and a monitor(for using it with the ps3 and the pc also) during the octomber and from a little research i been doing the last days i find those 2:
first candidate)http://www.plaisio.gr/product.aspx?product=1151509&HYOTHONESDIAGONIOS=26+inches&category=69978102
second candidate)http://www.plaisio.gr/product.aspx?...GONIOS=26+inches&category=69980053&catalog=19
Which screen should i prefer the monitor or the TV?
I remind that the screen will be used for the ps3 (i do not have an other hdmi capable monitor) , but with the pc also.
I need your help.
Thanks.

40v4500 is without a doubt the better tv

ive seen the samsung and sony side by side..... sony wins hands down s33

oh and if anyone is planning on getting a sony 40 inch pleeease look at the kdl40w4500 such a baaaaad ass tv bravia engine 2, 100hz and 1080 with a 50,000:1 contrast ratio is miiles better than any samsung and the kdl40w4000 in both HD content and freeview is just f*cking what it should be lol........ seeing is believing

I'm ordering Sky HD today, the £75 + £15 credit* deal is perfect timing for me, now if only they take me off hold!

Sky HD is a tenner more a month aint it?

I don't think that's worth it at the minute for how many HD channels you get

We bought a Philips 42PFL5603D at the weekend, really impressive quality for the price, Full HD, sound especially is fantastic. Very good price, even though our 32" Samsung is only about 3 months old we just couldn't resist the purchase :)

By the end of October Sky HD will have the most HD channels in Europe, I think its 19 channels.

I hope Five HD is on the way.
