Just watched episode 4 of Game of Thrones. I just think it's absolutely brilliant. It's slow as other HBO shows, yet lots of plots getting hot now and waiting to explode. The characters are superb, dialogues great and there's Tom Carcetti. What else can we want? A bit more of direwolves screen time is the only bad thing I can think of.

To people that haven't watched it yet, I think it's better to wait until the first season is aired, then watch all 10 episodes in a week or something. Most of HBO shows are much better watched like this.

I'm loving the soundtrack and the art direction is as if someone had taken most of the images out of my head and put it there in a tv show. Amazing work.
 
Another really good episode, funny to see what they've missed out as well. I'm having a big problem trying to remember what happens in book 1 and what we'll have to wait for season 2 to see.

And the person playing Robb is an awful actor, his voice just has no character, intensity, feeling, nothing. Just drab. On the other side, the actor playing Tyrion is fantastic and easily the standout actor of the programme.
 
Tyrion is the Imp right? He's been brilliant. I think the acting in general has been very good, so has the art and music direction, as mentioned.

I'm really loving the show and cannot wait for the next.
 
Strange, maybe it's a language thing, but to me (and most people I know) Robb is just perfect! One of the great things of watching films in another language is that actors always seem better.

Tyrion is amazing, and the childs Bran, Sansa and Arya are absolutely brilliant. The Arya scene with ned in the last episode, trying to stand on one toe, was amazing, specially what she said at the end.

But as Milanista says, all department shine in this production. I can't wait to see the next episodes, when things start to accelerate (not going to spoil a thing!).
 
Anyone saw the fringe finale?

definetly heading into "Lost" territory and im liking it. some daft episodes this season though!

Smallville - Series Finale

Excellent way to thanks the fans.
They nailed the mythology during the last half hour. Pure gold.
 
We've now finished season 2 of The League and my girlfriend is wondering if there's anything similar that we haven't seen. She's a big fan of Community and Running Wilde but nothing comes to mind. Any ideas?
 
Whats that new series that started on Sky 1 last weeks by the makers of The Shield?

Is it any good?

I never got around to watching season 2, I think I'll put The Shield and Oz on my iPad and watch them during quiet times at work.
