Hi bros!

Is it possible to change PES 6 match time in kitserver, or with any other tool? I would like to try to experiment with 17-18 minutes, right now PES 6 has options of 15 and 20 mins.. Thanks in advance! :TU:

It is fairly straightforward. I am guessing that you already have PCSX2 installed and PES2008.

I hope these pictures and instructions help...

1. Open up PS2 Emulator folder.

2. Then open folder "mymc-alpha"

3. Then double click "mymc" (this brings up a 'failed to load error' for me which displays for a few seconds but then disappears and then loads.

4. Then select "Mcd001.ps2" and open.

5. Then you should use the "import" button and then select your option file from your pc.

6. It should then appear in the list like the picture below.

7. Then close those screens down and run PES2008 on the PS2 Emulator and the option file should load.

Like you said, it depends on several things to make it a goal. What I do in those situations if my brain send the correct signal to my fingers is gently tap the shot button, the minimum power possible and pray a little (also some position adjusting with R2 if I can).

Can't say about newer PES, maybe in full manual control you can expect something like that.

Hmm a bit of a late reply :D

Yeh the red card I thought was pretty realistic as I was dilly dallying on the ball and lost it. It was a bit like something Maguire would do for United or England :LOL:

Regarding the shot, I didnt try any of those things I just pressed square and went for glory. :D

Can't think of any football game ever where I play more or less than the default. Unless it's a meaningless fixture when I'll drop it down to the minimum. Otherwise I think the default is perfect.
 
Guys, I want to edit the national teams kits in-game and I imported the logos but I can only add shorts and back logos. I'm unable to add the chest logos, when I try to do that, the game crashes! Does anybody know what I need to do? Maybe @Fenomeno9 can help?
 
guys I always struggle with Super cancel for shots, I mean, I know that I should combine R1+R2 after the power bar show up.

But should I maintain the two buttons, or just few seconds ?
 
I never used it in the past to cancel, a hook turn movement pushing cross directly after lol (more often) sometimes Triangle > Triangle cancel a shot.

Weird stuff you make me think about it : since i'm replaying those years, i shoot a lot, like when i started on ISS Pro Evolution 1.

Then on the 2 and even more on PES 1, i was only shooting when i was sure it would be on target. Some long shoot when i "feeled" it depending the player i was in possession.

Same for sliding tackle : i used it only for cutting ball trajectory : i was in the group of friend we played the one who avoided the most fault. Except a bad tackle from behind when i was loosing due to shitty circumstances and i was pissed haha, otherwise i didn't do bad moves vs the winner.
But i'm farrr less good than 15 years ago, but i try much more stuffs to keep the score, or for fun.

Got hard to keep the ball too, when passing and dribbling "technically" (without trying to pass the opponent) was my strong point.

Before, it was more "use what's effective, don't loose the ball" and that's all, but we were in competition with each others (we did a big league for every PES/WE versions) But with 5 minutes matchs, no other way we were 7-9. Except on Tournamement we did with a prize (but it still was for fun, with +- 8 TV etc. VERY good old times)

To count, we didn't make WE5FE, but from ISS pro evo 2 and PES 1 to PES 6 counting.... 7 years with 15 Leagues for 15 PES/WE in total, i just counted all the versions. But we didn't do J-League versions of course, i wasn't even aware it existed before PES 5 era.

The cancellation of the shot it's almost instantly once you push R1+R2, at least in PES2008 (PS2). You have to do it before the animation of the shot it's executed, I mean before the leg of the player impact the ball.

You can practice this in training mode against the goalkeeper (alone). Start running and double tap the arrow direction to push the ball further, this will give you extra time to practice the timing of the action.

I don’t use super cancel when shooting only when allowing a ball to run out of play.

But what I do use is the ‘feint’ button, that’s the ‘X’ for me on PS2. That works really well when taking the ball round the keeper.

What exactly does the cancellation buttons do before shooting? Does it just cancel the shot so that your player just continues in the action he was doing before? So not a trick, just a way of avoiding a hoof out the stadium? :D

I don't if one of you have noticed it,

I remember that for PES 2008 (PC) when you play a game (even a few seconds) in exhibition mode before playing a game in League mode, the COM will have a different lineup when he plays against you compared to his default lineup.

@H_G I'm not 100% sure if it's the same in 2008 onwards (I think so) but in the earlier PES's the exhibition game the AI uses the exact line up from the formation that is set in edit mode and doesn't make any changes. In league mode it will take into account form arrows etc.

Does anyone know why this happens? Most of the European teams don't have any kits through Kitserver. I've tried reinstalling the game from scratch & it doesn't fix it. It's like Kitserver won't recognise the team even though they are in the map correctly.

Can anyone help with this in here? Teamlist is all setup correctly, but when I load the game, any team before Finland (ID 18) becomes null.

There was power bar ,for manual passes in the PS2 era PES too, you had to turn it on from button configuration screen.

But good luck to master it, had to press the R-stick in direction, to aim for teamate. Totally un-ergomomic.
 
Hi bros, I'm looking for a PES 6 patch or option file which focuses on English Leagues, especailly Championship and Third Division, lower leagues, etc.. If you know of any, please let me know, thanks! :TU:

EDIT: I've asked and searched in Sany's thread but haven't been able to find anything yet.

Correct. Regarding power bars in simple pass, i cannot recall now FIFA 2004 & 2005 on PC, despite i played them a lot, but i clearly remember there was an option to FIFA WORLD CUP 2002 for PSX, (old-gen, more like a FIFA 2000 legacy edition in terms of gameplay) to turn on power bars on short passing. It was NEED FOR SPEED-esque gauge, and it was loading too slow, so it became uselless over time! i usually turned it off IIRC.
