The PES4 Master League Thread - YEAH!

Crappier version of Valeron huh?? Well since Valeron is a worldclass AMC with great passing/technique/vision i guess you're looking for a DESCENT AMC with 80s passing 80s technique or so.... which there are loads of.. i mean almost every team has one.

let me think...
what clubs from which countries are you looking for?? there are too many?

and Juventus11, Amauri is co-owned by Parma and chievo by the way and he's descent. Good height and descent player.

As for the guy who plays with Parma ;). I just thought it was akward for you to put udinese in 2nd division.... you would normally put crappier teams in there... and Since Udinese is in top 5 clubs of Italy it was weird.. but anyways its your game.. no surprise they got promoted though with all those good players.

Oh well, they're here anyway. ;)

After a loss (my first at all) and a win, I had to play Inter at the San Siro.

Inter 1 - 2 Parma:
I actually started this match better than I started against Milan. I managed to contain Adriano and Vieri pretty well. On the 25th minute, I deservedly took the lead. Bresciano skipped past Materazzi only to be brought down for a penalty. Gilardino stepped up and placed the penalty past Toldo. Soon after that, Gilardino got injured (out for six weeks). I put Barry on at half-time. Inter, understandibly, put me under immense pressure and finally got the equaliser. Davids give the ball to Veron just to the left of my area. He got it out of his feet and blasted the ball past Frey. I re-took the lead straight away though. Fantastic footwork by Barry before slipping a superb pass to Bresciano, who put Toldo the wrong way. Inter put me under more pressure, but I held out for a historic win.

Started with Fiorentina, only played one game -

Inter 2-3 Fiorentina

Miccoli and Portillo seem to be a good strike force and hopefully I have set the rest of the team up right, I dont know anything about their line up or anything, but it seemed ok in that game

by the way is Portillo back from loan to Real now or will he be there till end of season? anybody know where he is right now?

He is still playing for Fiorentina.

I beleive Fiorentina play a 3-4-3.

Lupatelli
Ujfalusi Viali Dainelli
Maggio(Arriati) Maresca Obodo Chiellini
Miccoli Rigano Jorgenson

the front three are more than once subject to change though.

Ive been playing this so far -

------------------Lupatelli
Ujfalusi-------Viali-------Dainelli---Chiellini
Jorgensen---Nakata----Maresca--Guigou
---------------Miccoli----Portillo

At the minuet my defence seems to be the weak point (conceding 7 in 4, but ive managed to score 10). So I think ill look for some new defenders when transfers open

Another thing Fiorentina dont seem to have many youngsters only Chiellini I think

Gil Vicente have today announced the signing of Ezequias, Maritimo's young full Brazilian back.

Despite playing over 60 games in the Superliga, it is rumoured that the new boss, wasn't particularly enamoured by some of his off the field activities. The former Corinthians Alagoano defender was pictured recently, emerging from the 'O Fugitivo' nightclub, near The Casino Park Hotel at 4 in the morning, a venue well known for its colourful Samba shows performed by Brazilian dancers.

I don't really think the defence is the problem. I bet the defensive midfield is where you have holes. Nakata and Maresca are both offensive cmf's. I'd partner Maresca with a defensive dmf, like fiorentina's Obodo (I beleive he is a youngster with good potential) and put Nakata on the flanks or as a pure omf.

Nice one mate. Good to see some little known players getting some exposure.

Shame you sold Zamenhof though, arguably the crappest keeper in the game but the little Polish fella did me proud during his time at Stuttgart in WE7.

Db

...Do you know though. Sometimes stats don't seem to stand for much. For example, I played an Exhibition match the other day, with a couple of low level French league teams and i scored a crackingly placed and powerd header with this striker, (although he was unmarked) I then checked his heading and jumping stats, and they were in the mid 60s. Likewise, a crappy keeper is able to pull off some good saves.

Thanks mate
I buy these players because they are suitable for my squad and are also complete players who are average players.

The next player i am thinking of buying Ibrahim Toraman (Bektikas) who is a very flexable player that can player as CBT, SBW, SB. DMF and OMF.

Yeah right about that one. I scored a left footed shot from outside the box with Burshet and his shot accuracy is the late 60's.

@ Codename, Just wondering that new player you signed 20 year old SMF, Mark Gonzalez, he's Chilean not Mexican or is that another Marc Gonzalez.

the Mark Gonzalez i'm thinking about is very good player and only 20 yeras old (Half Chilliean, Half south African  :) ) and plays for Albacete. Just wondering if you signed him because he's quality in real life.

anyways... Don I dont believe Fiorentina play a 3-4-3 and if they do they certainly dont play Martin Jorgensen as a forward because he's not one.

Metallica, you might want to try Ufalusi in center of defence for a while in my opinion and see how it goes. His main position is CB anyways and a very solid player however because of his good technique, sometimes different managers have played him on a few crisis tiems as SB but he's a CB so give him a try instead of Danielli or Viali and put someone else as RB.

Also you should listen to Don's advice about a good DM.. While i wouldn't say Enzo Maresca is a offensive mid... because he's not.. officially his position is a CM, DM if you ask most people but he's very ATTAKCING minded and not so great in defending which really means with Nakata and Maresca in center... yo udont have a Hard-tackling Def-mid that every team needs nowadays.

Why dont you use Obodo?? He's very young and talented and fits in to DM perfectly like Don said.

Anyways good luck with your fiorentina.

@Antiz, Atletico huh?? you like big talkers huh ;) They talk big and never do shit.... supposedly they're one of the Spain's biggest clubs and from what i understand one of the biggest fan bases... but they're always underachieving not even getting into uefa Cup sometimes but anyways they always run their mouth...

Thigns you need to change?? hmm...

1) Transfer Diego Simeone out of that club to Boca/River if you dont plan on playing with them otherwise to PES/WE united if they're not full because he went to Racing (Argentina).

2) Transfer Jesper Gronkjaer from Chelsea or birmingham if you had updated your game to Atletico Madrid.

3) Edit Paunovic's main position to CF instead of OMF

4) I have also edited a few appearances/hair cuts but thats not relaly important but if you're interested you go to their official website and whoever has wrong looks/hair you change it ;)

latez 4 now...

and Prof of course stats aren't EVERYthing ;) thats why it so fun to bring a younster with average stats in to the game and have him score the winner... and over season break into first team despite his crappy stats due to his good performances and then have the media praise him as the New Owen or New Rooney or whatever ;) of course the latter is in our imagination :D

Maybe a good idea, but to do that maybe id have to go 4-5-1, because I like Jorgensen and Guigou at the moment

Yes, they do play a 3-4-3. Jorgensen plays on the flank as a winger just like he does for denmark.

I said Enzo Maresca is an offensive CMF.
I'm a big fan of Maresca actually, and was devastated when he left Juve in the summer. Maresca is a big juve fan and would've fitted in perfectly next to Emerson.

Nao Teixeira, Bem Vindo Esteves

--

Felipe Teixeira's move to Maritimo looks to be in serious doubt this afternoon, after it emerged Valid Halihodzic decided to play the Portuguese in the Parisians 6-1 away French Cup win at Langueux.

psg.jpg

It seems that against the board of directors wishes, the controversial Bosnian coach fielded the wantaway midfielder in order to rest some of the club's big name players. This leaves the deal between the two clubs very much up in the air, with the player eager to get away, but contractually obliged to play even if it means scuppering his chances of a move.

Therefore, with the transfer deadline rapidly looming, 'Mr Simao' wasted little time in turning to another Portuguese exile, this time in Italy. Reggina's Ricardo Esteves who like Teixeira also operates on the right hand side of midfield is out of favour and has only featured in 6 games this season, 4 of which were in the Coppa Italia. The 25 year old although born in Lisbon, spent a succesful two years on Madeira at Nacional before moving to Reggina, and is keen to come back to the island and join 'Os verdes-rubros'

esteves.jpg

For their part, Reggina are willing to part with a player who they felt never really adjusted to Serie A, and whom found it hard to settle in the very southern toe of Italy.

Reggina hold a press conference to announce Esteves departure.

I saw Texeira's display. He played welll for such a bit part player.

Leo Lima soldf huh. The bleached blonde number 10. He always stood out on the pitch. Not a bad player either. Did you try to keep him Db? I suppose he wants to win stuff. I await the full statement.

Don are you sure about Fiorentina 3-4-3? Last 2 games theyve been using offensive 4-4-2 tactic.....or the xmas tree.

-----------Lupatelli----
Savini--maggio-ujfa.--Viali
-----------Obodo-------
Chiellini-maresca-Jorgensen
--------------Miccoli
---------Rigano---------

They play with Miccoli moving up and down as a striker or OM.
