The problem I think when talking about the games/series problems, and this is apparent in all communities to be fair, is that there is a lack of balance and articulation to the feedback. That, and the weird obsession with assigning blame or focusing on wild speculation out with the game itself.
below is an example of how I would like feedback to be articulated.
I agree with the general consensus that the AI is too damned eager to close up shop and pretty bloody well at that. This impacts on overall ebb/flow and variance in play patterns.
However...
It is actually a good thing that the AI can be that good at defending and closing the space. It is a positive that the game can demand more from the user.
The solution therefore would be to balance it better; allow for the AI to show such ability but ensure it is balanced correctly and happens in the right context.
unfortunately, you end up with feedback like this :
''Stupid Konami!!! Teams don't have this super-duper ability in defence and willingness to sit deep every time they are faced with an attack. This is damning evidence that WENB acts as marketing for Jon Murphy. More damaging is the fact the game is developed in Tokyo, by Japanese people, and they know nothing about football and are known to lack knowledge of physics like us cool westerners. They have no money and are leaking 8 million customers per year based on figures pulled out of my backside and the shooting is totally shite as well!''
@Flawed Genius - Your theory is deeply flawed. How ironic. I see you are still obsessed with those numbers put at the bottom of reviews as well.
