Really can't agree on people's comparisons with FIFA12. For me, someone who's always argued that PES is the more realistic, for once I'm going with game reviews and saying I think that FIFA12 is the most realistic game ever. There, shoot me down!
There are tons of things that need refining like ball control etc, but if you get the sliders right it immediately becomes far more realistic. The games ebb and flow at a realistic pace, the CPU has equal if not more possession of the ball, and there is a limitless variety of goals to score. Conversely, while PES gets certain tecnical aspects right such as ball control (well, in PES2011 anyways), the way the CPU teams set themselves out is utterly unrealistic and shatters any idea of being sim-like. Packing the first third of the field with all eleven men then leaving a massive, gaping gap in the midfield, then spamming through passes and repetitive ways of scoring are abysmal ways of replicating the way football teams play.

True. You should check out his nonsense today. He says, "I'm doing this" or "I want to do this" concerning the development of PES 2013, like he's making the game or is directly responsible for its devlopement
Yeah its getting a little embarrassing to read.
Here is the latest shite from Adam,
'Straight from the off, WENB will be detailing PES 2013 bit by bit. Because we are making the game, you'll see that level of transparency regarding the game throughout the months leading up to launch.'
'I'll say now you'll see PES 2013 shown in the way that I envisage it should be shown. Marketing is what I do for a living, and this PES game will be shown in a way you will all love and appreciate.'
(Adam, december 20/12/11)
I'm not sure what to expect from the games next year. If EA listens to Romagnoli it could turn out good. Don't see why they would though when they haven't done it for several years. If PES fixes ball physics and get back to player individuality and not frantic attacks every time someone gets the ball it might turn out good.

I think similarly on that topic: I hate how Fifa 12 feels when I play it, it just doesn't feel right, it doesn't have that sort of football-feeling I get when I play football in real-life.
There is a sort of detachment I don't like, players move all way too similar, the players skate too much on the pitch, when the ball gets passed around, the players all have perfect ball-control-abilities when receiving the ball, momentum/inertia plays only a small role... It all feels too comforty, missing danger and dynamic.
Unfortunately no slider-setting changes these things for the better.
All these things are better in PES, at least in PES 5 and PES 2011, and to a smaller extent in PES 2012.
But everything else beside these things are way better in fifa 12 than in PES 2012 and that is thanks to a good engine, allowing way less rails, better ballphysics, more natural animations...
Would love to see a PES-game with a new engine that rivals or betters EA's one, as well as I would love to see a Fifa-game with lots of individuality, momentum/inertia, realistic ball-control and proper foot-planting.
Ok Pes 2013 will be shit. Everybody happy?
are there no mods in here?
Lami? How can it be possible that i come here to discuss about pes 2012, still i have to read complaints about Adam and wenb?
Because Adam is part of Konami now it seems? If he is in some way officially speaking as a Konami employee, obviously people here will talk about it.
I haven't read up on this, but reading the comments here it seems like he is involved with marketing this year.
If john murphy is really interested in the success of the game, he shoud just check out this thread and ask some 10 people. all the issues are clearly identified in this thread and most of us have been playing the game for 15 years.
WENB are biased and cannot provide healthy feed back.
P.S.
I am so familiar with konami programming that i can always tell in 2 seconds in advance the exact moment the ref is gonna whistle the end of the game....i guess it happen to all of you too!
No,i visit wenb too and i can tell you he is just much closer to Konami UK than last year. He is NOT working with Konami JP, he is still an Ubisoft marketing employee.
Adam's influence on Pes 2013 will be something like 10% at maximum, it's Seabass and his team that make the game.
At this stage, even if Murphy is just a "feedback man", he has much more influence on pes development than Adam will ever have. Murphy actually works with the team sometimes during the year, Adam just stays in UK giving Murphy our feedback and receiving preview code (and hyping the game, refusing doubtful or negative user posts on wenb boards)
All that talk about him giving advice about which new engine Konami has to use for Pes 2013 is just nonsense. Konami will use the engine they want, that's what i think.
It's just that this year Wenb will become an official marketing tool, while last years it was an unofficial one.
@pj_puttz I disagree. This topic is the Pes 2012 Official Complaints topic, not the wenb and Adam complaint topic.

Some people here should know john murphy (in person or via twitter).
If they could contact him and tell him about a selected feedback from trustworthy people that played the game for 15 years...i am sure we could provide a lot of positive and pragmatic pieces of advice. we know the game history like the palm of our hands.
The game has been losing 1 million customers each year since pes 2008. Which is exactly the year i which WENB started its non sense unofficial marketing. So that blog actually did not help konami at all. This year konami will lose another million or more...they will hardly make it to 3 millions copies. they sold almost 9 in 2008. I think it is time for a change for them.
