The Hangover - 6/10

I didn't really buy into the comedy in this, and IMO it only really had a few funny moments, which mainly came as a result of the guy with the beard (Alan). To me it seemed like every other film in the genre, and if I'm really honest I liked the characters in Superbad better. I agree though, definitely a film to watch with your mates.

Watched Superbad last night for the first time. I'd rename it 'pretty bad'. Hardly any real laughs and most had already been shown on the trailers. The rest of the film was about a million swear words to make the little kids giggle and at the end awkward sex scenes with girls who all looked like they were 12.

Remove McLovin from that film and you have nothing.

I must admit I just sat there bored throughout it the first time I watched it.

And this was after shelling out for it on Blu-Ray.

But it gets funnier the more you watch it, and eventually McLovin becomes the least funniest thing in the film.

Public Enemies - 6/10

Expected far more from this considering the actors but it REALLY dragged out and the first hour was so boring I had to stop myself nodding off to sleep (honestly). Second half picks up and the best bit of the film is the last half hour.

Not one I'd watch again.

The Last House On The Left - 7/10

FUCKING HELL!

Not for the faint of hearted.

Bloody hell this film really wasn't for the feint hearted. You did warn us though... Overall, I thought it was a great movie, 7/10 seems right.

That scene in the woods was grim, I couldn't stop thinking about it last night. Horrible. I love a good bit of revenge though, glad the bastards went down. The microwave? great idea :P.

:SNACK:

Watched Bruno and thought it was shit. Boring interviews, unnecessary nudity and just awkward moments. Only a few funny scenes - when hes acting ignorant.

Be Kind Rewind (BD) - 7.5/10

Decent film, the last twenty minutes or so were very good.

Loved The Hangover.

Can't stop saying "reh-tard" now...

Also loved Coraline which I wasn't looking forward to originally...

We watched it with the 3D glasses, and I'm not kidding, I nearly jumped out of the chair twice. I'd read the 3D effects were pretty crappy but I thought some of them were stunning. I won't spoil it but I nearly shat, honestly.

Thought Bruno was garbage but it's not my humour, I find it painful to watch because it's "real" so I find myself looking away most of the time.

Knowing - Good start until we discover the ending.

Same here, why do all these movies seem to need to finish a movie with ....

Its like they got to so many minutes of the script and realised, "Oh f#$k we need to finish the story".

I watched Bruno last night and will give it a 7/10

Some very funny bits in and the guy has some balls to do half the stuff he does.

It thought Bruno was utter gash....1/10 for the umlaut on the Universal logo in the beginning

Borat was brilliant but Bruno isn't as good as Borat

But like i say it has alot of laugh of loud and wtf moments
