The Movies Thread

Australia - 8,5/10
Good WW drama

Friday the 13th - 7/10
Pulp Horror but gets an extra point for the opening section. If you've seen it you will know what I mean.

RocknRolla - 7/10
Decent Britcrime movie, just not as funny as Snatch and Barrels.

Australia a good world war drama? most of the movie was based on a farm/cattle. The war part was just something extra they threw in this movie which didn't last long and was the best part of this movie

5/10 for me.

The Hangover - 10/10

Actually saw this last week but ah well.

It's an absolute riot, hilarious most if not all of the way through. So many great quotes and funny goings on with great acting and characters.

I wanna see it again.

The Hangover - 9/10

Very funny movie, not laugh-a-minute really but when the jokes arrived they were really good.

Well worth seeing :D

The Hangover 9/10

The guy with the beard made me laugh every time he opened his mouth

If you aint seen this film go and see it

Oh there was a trailer for a film from the makers of Superbad which looked very funny as well so im looking forward to that

Wolverine - 7/10

Was alright. Much prefer the X-men films as there was better story and a bit more realism. I thought each mutant had to small a role and found it stupid how Victor is moody.

Role Models - 7/10. I liked the story between Danny and Auggie.... thought it was nice. But I thought the Hangover was miles better and thought that was almost a laugh out loud per minute film

I turned it off half way through

Film buffs seem to love it but it aint my cup of tea

I liked it. It is quite slow but picks up a lot more in the second half.

Watched Superbad last night for the first time. I'd rename it 'pretty bad'. Hardly any real laughs and most had already been shown on the trailers. The rest of the film was about a million swear words to make the little kids giggle and at the end awkward sex scenes with girls who all looked like they were 12.

Remove McLovin from that film and you have nothing.

great flick, great characters, your nutz man

Unknown - 7.5/10

Enjoyed Kinnear and Caviziel's performances. Good twist and a pretty good thriller/action film. Abruzzi from Prison Break and one of the others from Lost were in this film
