Missus wanted to watch the twilight films as she has just read all the books. Not my cup of tea, but I said I'd watch with her.

Actually enjoyed them... I feel unclean.

Dragging this one back up...

I watched all three over the weekend and also quite enjoyed them. They weren't great - maybe a 5.5/10 tops - but overall they were OK. Shit ending, but predictable enough.

Definitely enjoyed them far more watching them back to back. I probably would have given up after the first if I'd have to have waited.

I can't remember Oldboy much apart from one scene in particular that was amazing, but I do remember the film itself being great and I really enjoyed it.

It's impossible to forget that scene Dags, no way. I don't recall much of the film either, but I remember the first half of the film was superb and the 2nd half was a little more average, as usual in this kind of stories.

The Illusionist - 9/10 (BD)
A must for Tati lovers...

Wow! I didn't know this existed! Going to grab it as soon as I can to watch it. Tati is one of the best filmmakers ever, and one of my personal favorites. I hope this film is worthy of portraying him!

To anyone who never watched any of his films, please do, they're pure art.

It's an animation of a screenplay by Tati and it's only been out a few months. It has some of his gestures and mannerisms down to a t'... :P

Had to watch Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot after, never fails to make my sides ache...

How Do You Know - 1/10
Utter Utterly shocking. A romcom with some good actors, Resse Witherspoon, Jack Nichelson, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd. The later two being decent in romcom's, as Owen Wilson is always the same guy. However the timing of everything was off, I guess the director managed to screw everyone.

Love and Other Drugs - 6/10
Decent enough

The Last Station - 8/10
Final few months of Tolstoy's life. Really interesting.

Funny People - 7/10

Decent but far too long, the director/producer should have clamped down on this.

Finally got round to watching 'Oldboy'

9/10

Cracker of a film... I sort of anticipated the twist but still really enjoyed it.

'The Chaser' next on my to watch list

Scream 4

The best of the series?
Not far.

So many great ideas. And what an ending !

Kristen/Hayden = win

9/10

Finally got round to watching 'Inception'

Very disapointed in it...

I love Nolan films but this was a bit of a let down.

Very disjointed and presumptious... Yes I followed and understood it, I just dont think it handled all the elements well.

Thor

I was afraid it would suck. It does not.
I quite liked the story and amazing acting by Tom Hiddleston.

7/10

Fast & Furious - Five

Quite a good story for the movie being set in between parts IV and III(after IV and before the Tokyo storyline) with some minor errors in story telling, logical things and facts(f.e. at the end Tyrese Gibson says there are only four of these Koenigseggs in the world and then a "second one" comes along side, with him saying its the same, but in fact its a different model), but all in all I supposed to see an entertaining, shooting and driving movie and this is exactly, what I got, I think its slightly better than IV, which makes it the second best in the whole franchise for me.

Rating: 8.5/10
