Tron: Legacy - 7.5/10

Pretty decent. CGI was very impressive and have to agree that the music was excellent too. As was Gem and Quorra :D
 
The Next Three Days = 7.5/10

First 40 minutes, YAWN.... but... the last 40 minutes, superb...

No plot spoilers but worth hanging on through the slow start as it ramps up to a cracking finale...
 
the next 3 days 7.7/10 for me. great movie. yea a bit of a slow but fantastic towards the end.

hereafter 6/10. very slow movie, dull at places but interesting story to follow

Paul 7.5/10 great comedy. very funny. not as funny as hot fuzz but still a great film to see.

unknown 7.6/10 decent movie but i felt as if i have seen it all before as its bourne + taken = unknown.

Battle L.A 7.7/10 nice movie. nice special effects. good acting by the main character and some emotional scenes. its basically black hawk down meets aliens.

skyline: 2/10. fucking awful movie. shocking. worse sci fi movie i have seen in a long time. shit acting, shit story, shit dialogue, no suspence. nothing. pure crap. Battle LA pisses all over this movie.

ANyways what movie should i watch next? Tron legacy any good? unstoppable?
 
GoodFellas 7.5/10 Good film but nothing different.

Inglorious Basterds 8.5/10 very good film.

Hot Fuzz 8/10 much better than I expected.

Red 7/10 decent popcorn flick.

Che Part 1 8/10 great story.
 
Inside Job - 8/10
Documentary about the collapse of the financial system. I knew most of it from other documentaries, but what did annoy me was that Obama's financial advisers are all the same c#$ts that caused this problem in the first place! If you don't know what happend, and are interested in finding out the history behind financial globalisation it's worth a watch.

Yeah I wouldn't say its "better" as their two very different genre's but I've seen LOTS of Italian American crime televison/movies and if anything its probably the "original" to portray Italian American Mafia accurately but ive already seen Soprano's etc. Im sure if I watched this when it came out I would probably feel that way about the latter stuff.
 
I would suggest the names of Some movies which I have seen and which have made the records on Box office and are super hit Movies . The names are as below

Titanic

The Chronicle of Narnia
Evil Dead 1,2,3,4
Wrong Turn 3
 
Godfellas is, with The godfather, the basic stuff about mafia movies.The narrative is simply amazing.

Though I understand that watching this now can't produce the same effect, just like Bullit won't seem as amazong now (to me it does...). Anyway, I get the point of being overexposed to mafia stories, but the film in itself is very well directed, acted and photographed, and have a lot of qualities that make it a top film on its own.

Maybe The sopranos were so good that have spoiled Mafia stories for a whole generation.
 
I Saw The Devil = 9/10

Korean Languuage with Eng Subtitles.

What a stunning film.

A crazed serial killers next victim happens to be the pregnant fiancee of a highly trained special agent.

Maybe a little long at nearly 2 hours 30 minutes but it held my attention all the way to the gripping end.

I loved it and fully expect Hollywood to grab it and ultimately ruin it...

Sounds good, will check it out. Love Asian movies, told so much better than the vast majority of Hollywood stuff.

For those who missed it, there's Memories of murder, an incredible film based in real a Corea murder case at the 80s, showing how amateurish was the police then. If you plan to watch it, don't read about it, just grab it and watch it.

Yeah I saw 'Memories of Murder' a few months back... Really enjoyed it but I have to say 'I Saw The Devil' blows it away in my opinion...

No skantily clad, semi-naked big boobed blonde women running through the woods victims as the Americans would do it...

Seconded. Some scenes might be a little graphic for some, but the moral of the story is great. Jonny, I think we have similar tastes in films. We always give similar scores for the same films and you seem to always watch a film that I'd watch!
