If you buy it from ShopTo make sure you're in on the next day they deliver it, since you have to sign for it.

Cheers db. I'll let you know my team, hopefully at some point this week. I have a cool updated PES6 OF and i've pretty much decided on a team for that. However, i'm going to give the PS2 version of PES2008 a go and if i like it, i'll pick a team form that instead perhaps.
I need to get an ML going :D

Great work on the ML portal, looks very snazzy. :mrgreen:

I am leaning towards a Napoli ML, in a Mediterranean Super League setup. (With Italian, French, Greek and Turkish Clubs in both Divisions)

Although I may change my mind, so it isn't final just yet. :p

I would really like to get used too the game before I start any ML. I am playing on Top Player and sometimes I manage to win, other times I lose. I'm still not 'into' the game yet either. Seems it may take a while.

I have never disliked a single version of PES yet, hopefully this game won't be the first that i'm disappointed in.

good job, mate, but some tiny mistakes are still there.

First Spartak:
defence looks like this now - Shishkin Jiranek Stranzl A.Ivanov
midfield only 1 change - Kalinichenko for Torbinskiy as he's leaving the club they don't use him as a starter any more.

CSKA:
PK taker Jo. everything else is just perfect :)

Lokomotiv:
defence - Ivanovic Asatiani Rodolfo Yanbaev
midfield - Gurenko(dmf) Bilyaletdinov(cmf close to the left wing, but not as smf) Cocis(amf) Samedov(rmf) that's how they played till Cocis got injured I guess this is their best formation. but the one with Maminov as cmf and Bilyaletdinov as amf is ok too.
attack - Sychev Odemwingie
L CK Bilyaletdinov
R CK Samedov
S FK Bilyaletdinov
L FK different players

I will check through EPL formations later, as I'm editing PES file these days I might help updating with the most recent ones.

I see there are 4 new default squad ML players :)

Baumann, El Moubarki, van den Berg and Gutierrez. These guys used to be the 'young ML players' section i think, but it seems they have now made the step up to the full squad :mryellow:

One question. Why are all names upper case, in the PS2 version now? Did someone leave the caps lock on at Nokami?

Wanted to let you know that it is possible to have a ML with just one country's teams in it.

Start the ML as ussual and when it comes to selecting the teams clear all, then put your team in another league not the league with division two. Then fill this league with all the teams desired.

The obvious problem with this is you then have just one league and no promotion/relegation but at least you'll have a consistent ML.

Konami have broken the ML to some extent or maybe I should say the whole game. :(
 
I see the pes shop (PS2) has a whole bunch of Bundesliga players from Stuttgart, Hertha, HSV, Wolfsburg, Bremen (eg Zidan, Wiese, Quiroga, Sorin, Mineiro, C. Alberto, etc etc)...I've given them their real names via the pes editor, so i can buy them/bring them into the game.

Also, has anyone got any bright ideas as to how i can change all the uppercase names, to lowercase, without having to retype them all in the editor. It's a minor thing, but i'd prefer it that way ;)

Yes you can mate. I was starting a ML on the PS2 version yesterday and i seem to remember that i kept on strolling past the Other League C teams.

Anyways i got good news (for me really)...I've finally got my PS3 version from ShopTo.net, after week! :)

I've decided i'll rather start a ML on the PS3 version now. :mrgreen:

Me to.

I think the best way of getting all the letter to lower case is, buying a monkey and getting him to do it for you.

Is that option on PES2008 for the PS3!?!?!? :)

Thats because you've been playing WE10JL for so long now. ;)

In the PES2008 (PS2) version it has the same menu/setup system as the recent JL games, along with the A-E team and player level up (or should i say rankings).
