Re: Sony PSP

Or we could buy the 'Chunky' Datel X2 battery which claims to last twice as long as Sony's

When GT4 for PSP comes out(if that ever happens), $ony is supposedly going to allow developers to start coding with the system running at 333Mhz instead of 222Mhz.

trust me, GT4 on PSP isn't ever going to happen, I'm sure PD have just given up on it.

I want to see what MGS: Portable Ops will be like, that's should run t 333MHz

Re: Sony PSP

FIFA07 has enough quality to play.
it has commentary, mini games, manager mode.

could you give us more information please??Gameplay;graphics ETC...
I'd like to buy it but i need to know if it is really worth

Re: Sony PSP

Plays EXACTLY the same as the PS2 version Alain, play that and you're playing the PSP version. It's quite an achievement, I love it - the only downside is that it runs quite slow, almost in slow motion. But one of the best portable football games I've played so far.

Thanks @Jack:) i will definitely buy it!!!but what do you mean by"almost in slow motion? It's playable anyway??

Re: Sony PSP

It's playable, but the speed decrease is noticeable. If you put the PS2 FIFA on "slow" gameplay speed, that's quite slow - and the PSP version is even slower (with no option to speed it up, presumably because of the quality of the graphics). But it's good!

Re: Sony PSP

i have fifa 07 aswell the gameplay is not that fast only when you play online but the game is packed loads of stuff much more than pes5 or than pes6 seems to have

Re: Sony PSP

got it today and i m absolutely happy with it!!:) is it me or the game seem harder than on ps2,,??

Re: Sony PSP

Yes 1.5 is the golden Firmware for running ISO's on the PSP. Also best for emulators.

I dont think you can use ISO Loaders with any other firmware OPM.

guys what firmware would i need to run current iso loaders?
2.71 or lower. I say this as there are fully working downgraders for 2.71 that take you to 1.5. The only thing you need to worry about is if your PSP's mobo is TA-082. The following link will show you how to see if you have a TA-082 (which will not downgrade to 1.5). If you don't have a TA-082 you can downgrade to a 1.5 if you wish.;)

Re: Sony PSP

Advice if your PSP is 2.71 and your gonna downgrade to 1.5, do the downgrade first, then upgrade to 2.0 and then back down to 1.5, there have been reports of people's PSP's dying after a while having downgraded directly from 2.71 to 1.5 and 2.0 to 1.5 is a cleaner way of downgrading.

Something ive heard a lot about from PSPHACKING101.com which is my main resource for PSP hacking news.

Re: Sony PSP

I have a jap PSP thats 1.5 and I have totally lost track of how to do all this stuff... it has gotten well more complicated lol :)

Re: Sony PSP

Just bought a second hand "Daxter" for 8 GBP. What a bargain!

Still really enjoying my PSP. Finished Syphon Filter... great game.

Watched the entire Extras series on the PSP, and the widescreen is excellent.

Getting annoyed with having to search everywhere for the 33 rings in Ultimate Ghosts & Goblins. That has really spoiled the enjoyment for me. I don't have the time to search every bloody corner, and use rock magic on every stone. I think the Mario 64 approach was much better. At least it was reaonably obvious where all the coins were. How you get to them is the challenge... thats the way i think it shd be.

Download the Devicehook Pack. It contains Devhook 0.46 plus the 2.71 firmware so you can run games which require this firmware or older. It also allows you to run ISO's off of the memory stick (Providing you have a decent sized memory stick)
