Sony PlayStation 4

Will developers apart from Sony actually make any content for the device.

Everyone I know who has tried Oculus Rift have all said how amazing it is, but I am just worried if any developers will ever support it.
 
Absolutely. VR is unquestionably going to be huge. the only question is how big the bang will be when it's first released.

I'm inclined to think the sales of OR and PSM are going to be Wii-like from launch day; there will probably be a fair amount of rubbish released for it as people work out how to get the most out of an unknown format, which may lead to a lull around the 3 year mark, but by the time the next generation of consoles comes along (and manufacturers like Samsung start to release their own hardware) the new headsets will have retina screens, eyetracking, full peripheral vision, cameras on the front for augmented reality... and, probably most importantly, they'll be able to run from your phone/laptop/tablet.
 
My main concern with them is I might end up kicking the table or a loved one or walking into a wall while trying to play a game :(

Yes it is. Those are taken ingame by people like you and me. Some of them are compressed from image sharing sites.

Nope, the photo contest rules forbid the use of any editing other than rotating the images.


I've played through the game. It does look THAT GOOD.
 
Finally got my Trials Fusion map to upload :)

It's called Alien Invasion. Quick top for the camera change jump, don't use any lean, only accelerate.

Working on part 2 now

No I will keep the Xbox One, it could surprise me yet and I'm not exactly desperate for cash (I collect gaming consoles anyway).

Bought a Saturn today!

Yeah I stand corrected on that, I tried it for the first time tonight and the photos do look like that. It still looks nicer than the actual game mainly because of some of the lovely blur effects you can add, but the game does look amazing.

No it's really good. It's not going to be remembered as an amazing genre defining game but it's solid, fluid, fun and looks absolutely gorgeous.

Judging by this, hardly any difference. Shame the light just can't be turned off. It looks a bit childish really.

Yeah barely any difference and they obviously did it grudgingly, also wish it could be turned off completely, don't play any multi controller games and don't use the camera so it's completely pointless, and annoying (hence covering it with black tape the day I got it).
 
I just read that Infamous now has the option to cap the frame rate at 30fps. Does a cap improve the sharpness of the graphics at all or is it entirely down to fluidity of animations/environment etc?

It is to stop the frame rate drops and screen shuddering you probably get whilst playing.

It won't improve the graphics in the slightest.
