I was struggling w/ the headphone and its audio output. No one wants to hear me play so I found the setting for it .

Got a PS4 before Christmas but wrapped it up and tried forgetting about it. Didn't go very well, my legs were burning from the itching on Christmas Eve. I'm really liking the console anyhoo. I've got BF4, FIFA 14 and Ass Creed 4 at the moment, oh and Resogun. Feel free to add me.

Mine too. I'm rubbish at it though. Took me ages to get to level three.

I just commented in the FIFA thread about this, but I was really shocked today when I ran my PS3 alongside my PS4, just how awful the graphics look in comparison now. Funny to think just a short while ago I thought current-gen looked great.

Switching between several games on both systems, the graphical upgrade was massive - from frame-rate, to resolution, lighting, everything, the jump is actually pretty huge. Getting used to PS4 graphics makes some of the games on the PS3 look miles older than they are. PS3 FIFA 14 looks jaggy, blurry, just awful in comparison.

The jump from PS3 to PS4 is a lot bigger than many give credit IMO, and that's not even taking into account the console's functionality and speed of the operating system, load times etc.
 
Fucking got BLOD on delivery... Hearing more and more that FIFA blows just as bad on ng as cg has got me thinking I might just return....
 
what`s BLOD ? and I wouldn't read too much about ppl FIFA14 horror stories. I find that the PS4 has me playing w/ folks near my location instead of playing folks in Brasil/Mexico/Honduras on PS3 ;)

I have 2 games FIFA14/COD can`t be arse playing too much. Im an old man I average 6 fut/online season matches a day :LOL:

And that's where PC gamers come from when they mention these same things you did comparing their PC version of a game vs their console one, i.e. PES or Fifa.

Now you know :)

P.S. PC friends, don't take advantage of this post to creep back in with your master race comparisons ;) Just wanted to point out what most of you meant when mentioning what Suuuuupertalk said. We understand you now :P

Blue light of death, ps4 will not start up
 
Or that your hdmi connection / tv firmware is up to date?

I got the blod after the day-one update. Updating my tv fixed it, aswell as changing the connection to the primary hdmi on the tv.

See I never got that far, so I hesitate to updates firmware, for the following reasons

1) tv is out of warranty
2) I had it professionally calibrated and do not want to lose those settings...

Will rerun and hopefully get another and see what happens

TV's should retain any calibration settings
 
Actually mine restarted in safemode, but like gomito I was just trying to shut it off....

Everything with my blod was related to hdmi. My tv is only 8months old....and the firmware maybe 2 months so If the new one doesnt work I would definitely do a tv update.
 
Jesus! BLOD is scary...don`t think Ive ever heard of this in any PS consoles. The good news is you can return it and they`ll offer you a game free. Or is that Xbox one?
 
My share button doesn't seem to work every time. I double click it and see the record symbol but sometimes the recording isn't saved. Weird.
 
There's two settings, default setting is:

Tap once to open the share menu
Double tap to start recording video from that point
Hold it down to take a screenshot
