Well that date is just the best guess at the moment. I don't think there has been any official 100% confirmation yet other than 'sometime before the EU release date.
 
The Pixel Junk Eden patch is out and the game is a less frustrating now.
 
How does it make it less frustrating? I've forgotten exactly what it does. It is a good game but... gets on my nerves.
 
Gives you more time and more continues I think. I thought it was a very good game, difficult at times though.
 
That's MUCH better then, I thought it was really harsh with the time limit. Might jump on it at some point in between CoD sessions.
 
Like you say it gives you a lot more time, I my first trophy for the game yesterday.
 
I agree about the RE5 demo, the camera is awful.
 
Completely agree with Jay and Tobi. It feels like you're trying to drive a tank around one of those mazes mice run through. And the camera is right up the players arse so you have a good idea of what's to your right, but no idea what's to your left or behind you.

What's up with the boobie camera when you search for your partner? why does it highlight her knorks?

I only tried the part where guys come at you over and over and then some huge executioner guy comes in and kills you both with 1 hit. It just left me thinking 'well that was shit'

Quite how they managed to fuck up the RE franchise is beyond me. This whole 'zombies who can run, jump, freaking fly and have alien parts within them' is pretty dumb and has had me losing interest more and more.
Bring back the Dead Rising slow stumbling hordes of the buggers. That is way more terrifying than zombies who may as well just be human.

Maybe if we all play the race card or maybe tell them that guns offend our religion we can get this shit canned.

Sony has told Eurogamer that attractive PSN game Flower will cost GBP 6.29 when released next Thursday 12th February.

Flower costs USD 9.99 across the pond, which left us expecting a slightly higher conversion, so this is pleasing. And so is snow.

Flower - developed by thatgamecompany of flOw fame - has players restore vibrant colours to the dreary dream-worlds of city flowers. To do this, petals must be steered around on the wind and clattered into other flowers, sending up more petals to join the cause.

The effect is rather pretty and quite serene, as our hands-on impressions of Flower point out. Look out for our review soon.

Q Entertainment will finally release Lumines Supernova on the European PlayStation Store tomorrow.

You'll need GBP 9.99 or EUR 14.99 to buy the puzzle game, which adds Dig Down and Sequencer modes to the much-ported, proven formula.

Dig Down has players burrow through a block-filled screen, and the Sequencer lets users piece together backing tracks from a stock selection of loops.

Trophies are in, as are Skin Edit, Time Attack, Puzzle, Mission and local head-to-head modes familiar to Lumines. There's no online multiplayer yet, though.

To celebrate all this, Q Entertainment has teamed with Media Molecule to offer a special LittleBigPlanet skin.

Can anybody tell me the average price for replacing the PS3 laser. I've been having a few problems with the damned thing, keeps failing on recognizing a disc in the drive.

Phone Sony, they'll sort you out with a refurb or a brand new replacement.
 
When your on the phone to them just lie, they don't check whether your telling the truth or not.
 
When i had mine replaced they asked for the serial number from the back of the console and then after giving them that told me what day a replacement would be sent out (3 days later). So maybe they can check if it's under warranty with that?
