On the PC now.
Right - im not sure if anyones been here.. but i had my ps1 chipped up to play imports and some games (Resi Evil, Silent Hill to name 2) would be in black and white if i used the red/white/yellow composite/s video cables to connect to the tv instead of the scart.
This is kinda like that.
I use a S-video lead to connect the ps3 to the usb capture card - i have to play in SD on a HDTV which hurts which is why i always look for saveable replays in games so i can play in HD, save, and then later load it up in SD and cap everything.
Now the game will work on my tv with the composite cables... but for some reason the cap card wont allow the 60hz image to come through - i cant force it to run in 60hz either - ALTHOUGH... i could cap us playing with my older cap card... but that cant capture sound!
I could cap us playing in silence and then dub over the real track (as long as the real track matches the in game track and they've not added any extra notes like they did in GH)
It's better than nothing or just a still image i guess!

Rock Band price promotion: “Gimme Three Steps” - Lynyrd Skynyrd and “Dirty Little Secret” - All-American Rejects are reduced to $0.99 until June 5th.
Think i might pick them both up, Dirtly Little Secret looks fun to play and Gimmie three steps for some reason has a bit of the minder theme tune to it in my head. 2 songs for just less than the price one one isn't bad.
