I still like "Say it aint so" to play and sing. Such a good song a relatively easy - which makes it more fun as you dont have to worry so much about what to play.

Dags, I've got the Oasis pack, The Police pack, then quite a few single songs, including 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall Out Boy, Blondie, Weezer, The Clash, plus loads more!

I loved drumming on The Clash - Train In Vain last night :DD.

The Police song that's on the DVD, RIDICULOUS! Far too fast on drums/guitar on medium, hate that song :(

Love playing that track.

Me, PBB, anyone else up for a PS3 band? We can take photos of our highest scores on songs and see which band is better :D

Paul, is there a way I can hear you sing instead of the actual vocals? I'm sure I read something about using some buttons on a controller?

But yeah, if someone has capabilities to record then filming the songs will be fun :)

i can film us no problem and instrument wise id have to say the guitar is my best, its the only one i can do expert on. i don't mind being on the bass either

About the singing i read ages ago you cant hear someone else singing online over the track

Our Xbox band is jaygrim on drums, and me and Joe swapping between guitar and bass. I could record us doing a song later tonight :)). We'll all be on medium difficulty by the way.

i was good on the GH2 guitar as well

im so tempted to buy this but cant in any way shape or from justify £140 on a game

Yea, I can defo sing - and I dont mind dropping to the bass to allow KRad to shred the axe - only fair if I take up 2 slots.... unless JB joins in on da bass.

And no, PS3 you cannot hear vocals - I dont know if it was ever confirmed, but I read ages ago that by holding LB (or LT?) you can hear the vocals on 360.

I do not know for the life of me if I'd want to hear anyone (even me!) sing.

You should get Singstar and see some of the vids online (if only they did this in Rockband though! WOuld be well cool)

Dont class it as a game, its an experience - like a seperate 'console' in its own right.

Worth every penny - and I know thats easy to say if you are lucky enough to afford it (i'm not wealthy by any means, I sell to buy!).

i sold everything to import it - from memory ....

guitar hero 1 & 2 with guitar on the PS2
the complete futurama dvd collection
about 5 ps3 games
4 psp games
some ps2 games
and a bunch of dvds that blockbusters gave me about £15 for

£140 I had to raise, involved selling GH 2 + 3 and guitar, about 4 360 games, pad, battery packs and a controller. WELL worth it.

At first I was dubious about paying so much but now, having played it, it's well worth it. Like PB said, it's an experience and like its own console.

How are we going to set up this competition then?

Will we all play the same track or tracks and people can compare - or will we pick our best tracks and compete against each other that way?

Are they judging the final score, the average % at the end of the track or something else?

What is it - us v the 360 lot?

I think we need to list our 3 fave/best songs and pick 1 to do that we all agree on...

drums - completed easy not tried medium yet
singing - done a few songs on easy - not tried medium yet
Guitar - completed hard and have 5 starred most of them.. started expert and got halfway so far. I tried joker and the thief on expert and the opening part kills me so i dont think ill be able to complete expert

well i have just seen a clip of Guitar Hero world tour and the pressure sensitive drums and the look of them seem alot more appealing than the RB ones so ill think ill wait to see how they compare

Guitar - Just started on hard and got 5 stars
Drums - Medium and get above 90% usually
Mic - Not even gonna bother

As for the format, I originally expected us to just play songs and if we got a good score, then to just post a photo and the other band would try to beat it.

But if we're going for videos, I'll go with Paul's idea of each band choosing a few of their best songs and then a song both bands agree on.

Are we including DLC? If we are, all the band members will need to know in advance so that they can get practice in?

Coopz, any other links for the GH clip? The one you posted has been removed now :(
