I'm prob gonna get it. Just got excited reading the track list again
Hope my GH3 guitar and Singstar mics work with it as I sold my RB kit a few weeks back. Loads of RB2 on Ebay, less than £40 for the game - unless anyone knows of anywhere better?

They're pretty quick, no customs charges and reliable. Great place to get imports from, and cheaper than buying games from over here too!

Yea, think I used them a while back to get something, but I had to create a new account anyway.
Looking forward to it now and even if this GH guitar doesnt work, then at least I know the GH4 kit does in a few weeks.
Shiiite... This, LBP out in a couple of weeks, GH4, PES DLC, Killzone 2... we ARE spoilt gamers at the moment!!

Hi, this site seems to be very good. However, I see that its a canadian site. Any idea if we'll be able to get dlc (buy new songs) from the us store or we must get it from the canadian psn store? Just want to make sure before buying it.

Wow, this game is incredible. I did a quick play through with two friends, someone on drums, someone on guitar, and me on bass and vocals (all on expert except I had the bass on medium) and it was great.

My Rock Band 2 order was sent from VGP on friday. It will probably take a while before it arrives over here but if I get it before the weekend I will be satisfied. I can't wait
EDIT: btw, does anyone know of a site that sells standalone RB2 ps3 guitar? Only one I found was amazon, but they won't send it to europe :/

Rock Band 2 bonus DLC revealed, coming Nov. 4
Harmonix has revealed (via IGN) the identity of the mysterious 20 downloadable tracks from Rock Band 2. There are no heavy-hitters to be found on the list; instead, we get a set of predominantly lesser-known artists such as The Chevelles, Authority Zero and Opiate for the Masses. The free DLC, for those who register, is coming Tuesday, November 4 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (although don't be surprised if PS3 owners have to wait until the following Thursday).

That's awesome. "We really wanted to put another 20 songs on and they're so good that we couldn't NOT give them to you!" .... so they give us 20 no-marks instead
I really expected them to be a few big names in there with them saying they couldn't squeeze them on the disc.
At least it's free.

They still haven't refunded my money for LBP that I asked for on Friday either. Apparantly they're getting loads of emails so there might be a delay but this is taking the piss a bit now

Weird they took the money for a pre-order. Internet law states that money should not be taken until the goods have been physically dispatched...

Grinning like a bastard as RB2 arrived today.
Works PERFECTLY with the GH3 controller and feels pretty good actually.
Much of the same as RB1 - the songs I exported and DLC all slot in nicely to the new RB2 interface (looks more like the shop).
Played through the first tier and I'd be lying if I said it wasnt just RB1 with new songs, but I guess once I get into the band modes etc then it will show off some new stuff.
Still, great fun - great to rock out to Eye of The Tiger and Man In The Box.
And TROPHIES!
For £32, its so worth getting the solus version chaps.

There are some pretty extreme ones, but also ones for completing each tier in the single player, getting the van/plane etc.
I like the new 'ding' of the Trophy Award on PS3 now. Not sure if its just for RB, but its cool (little icon of the trophy graphic made by the devs pops up too, not just the actual generic trophy graphic).

I'm really torn between buying the UK RB2 and dumping my usa dlc or importing - I hardly get chance to play on it and when i do i tend to skip through most of it having got 5 stars and a high score. It's also an arse topping up my entropay card.

Yea, I'm happy to do that. Not too much of a hardship - takes 2 minutes to load it up (the card) and then you're good to go.
Think I'm going to use the cheat code later to unlock all the songs, save fricking around the career mode to get everything unlocked.
I like the way you can make your own setlists now in quick play - so you can 'play' Bloodsugarsexmagic, or the Pixies etc all the way through...
