You then have to add on the import tax as well so that would then come to above £225.
I got one off eBay (he had 9 left to sell after id bought one)

Worked out at $199.99 for the full bundle and $99.99 postage and then all thats left is the import tax == 148.007 GBP

Sure, an envelope the size of a DVD they might not be fussed but you're talking about a huge box here. They're not likely to be able to overlook that.

I was just phoning to check if it had been delivered or not yet and they told me it hadn't yet - then just as they were saying 'ok bye' i asked if i had to pay on the door when it would be and the woman said back 'oh right did you get the letter this morning?'

LOL... well on the news site I found it on, it says "expected this week".
Just been on the official RB forums, seems the store is gonna be a front end for PSN, so hopefully, nothing changes with UK players getting DLC the way we do!
Plus, placeholders in for full albums - so hoping that comes soon. Nevermind and Who's Next would be superb. If Baba O'Reilly is released in RockBand I will wet myself... bet they ruin it by making you play the keyboard intro on guitar (like they did with the piano in the NIN songs
)
Still, hopefully a big step forward and nice of them to do it - apparantly lot of the fixes and suggestions came directly from the RB forums, so kudos to the community.
Oh finally, apparantly over 6 million songs downloaded by players for RB. Considering thats 'officially' USA and Canada, thats pretty mad!

If they do prevent you from downloading then the PS3 and Rock Band will be going straight on eBay - with EA pulling some strings I wouldn't be surprised if it works out that way.

The updates out - i just downloaded an update - played for an hour, turned it off to eat, turned it back on and another update came up
It adds the music store to the main menu and err everything else above --- can't say ive noticed anything else changed but ive not been around for the annoying repeating songs part
I'll have to wait for confirmation that we can still play and download DLC before i have an attempt at getting a card sorted

It certainly is, got one on the recommendation of pboreham and have used it to download all the good DLC since. :thumbup:
EDIT: Yep the patch is out, makes things look a bit easier when it comes to downloading. I notice it says every single song is "purchased" when you log on with a non-US account, though, and most of them appear as "purchased" through a US account as well. I hope this doesn't fuck anything up. :eh:
EDIT 2: Seems to work okay, but I wouldn't browse the song store from a non-US account if I were you. It says every song is "purchased" and saves data, just looks a bit dodgy. If you log in with your US account to look at the songs it seems a bit safer, but it still reckons I've purchased tons of packs that I haven't (such as the NIN pack).

everything says purchased for me and when i tried to download a song it said unavailable

Not got the patch myself yet, but apparantly the 'Purchased' thing is fixed? Everyone got it, so I dont think its connected to us looking from the UK...

I figured out you can actually play Band World Tour on your own. You just sign in as one person and then press continue.
I won't be doing that though because I don't want to "spoil" my band with other people, if you see what I mean.
