Worth every penny you paid?
How does a custom playlist work? - Do you pick some songs and then play them back to back?

How is the create a character mode?
Does it look like its possible to create any famous people or have any recognizable face paints/attires?
I'm getting pissed off with the guitar, I could finish 90% of songs with 100% success with the PS2 guitar - with this PS3 one (and the non-clicky strum bar) you keep getting missed notes in the middle of a heavy-note streak. It's great when the notes are reasonably far apart, but if you've got to hit 16 notes in a fast-tempo bar, or even worse, the middle notes get missed.
Bitching aside though, the world tour mode (only available in it's FULL GLORY in multiplayer) is literally the best game mode I think I've ever played in any game, ever. You win fans by playing well, and you LOSE fans if you quit in the middle of a gig (or play poorly when it's not expected of you). So everything has consequences, and it's not "just a game" in terms of quitting if it's all going pear-shaped. They won't like it.
Lots of songs are locked but you can make a custom playlist if you get bored. Some of them are very hard though. The better you do the more money you get, the more money you get the better forms of transport you can get, the better forms of transport you have the further you can travel.
It's serious stuff and I am fucking in love with it. So much so that playing on my own isn't the same any more. And I can't say that about a lot of games.
Watch me.Just fucking rub it in for those of us who don't have it Jack, you cunt.
Every penny. You get what you pay for, and this is the most fun I've ever had with a game. It feels wrong calling it a game, it's so far from anything I've ever played, even Guitar Hero. In World Tour mode it is out of this world, the work you have to put in (as a team, one person can't carry you) to get fans, to get roadies, to get equipment. And you can even design your band's logo and your clothing - we had a design in our heads anyway but to see it on the drums, on our shirts, IN THE CROWD - just fucking incredible.Worth every penny you paid?
jack so does your lady sing while you strum... hmm that sounded bad, no really what does your teamate do? the drums are hard as shitWatch me.

You first...
Gomito, I'm on the guitar, she's on the drums. It's so funny when the nephew calls, he is as jealous as fuck. He asks me every week when it's out over here.
oh wo, thats cool, my girl is afraid of them, especially since i told her some englishman namend jaygrim told me to put her maxi pads on the drums
Oh Jack, please, please, you've got to. Oh my god, this needs to be done!Milanista said:Jack I reckon you should record yourself playing/singing a song. Would be funny!
LegendAh go on then, seeing as you asked Tim.

I'll get a recording done of me on the guitar and the missus on the drums. It'll be a week or two though, got to practice first.
Shocking how other games become in comparison, I have a rotation of 360 games that I love and after playing this for a week they're not as fun any more. There's a list of eight games in my sig for this month, and I'm not really bothered about any of them now. You can't imagine how much fun world tour is.
Only downside is that the world tour mode in all it's beauty is multiplayer-only, so while the missus is away it's not the same... But they've done this purposefully I think, and good on them.
Yep, which is why I said it's not worth getting it from the US. You're better off trying to get it from the UK, you may get a lower/higher tax price depending on what side of the bed someone in Heathrow wakes up on. I've been charged import tax on every single thing I've bought from outside the UK, whether it's been marked as a gift or not. Some astronomical charges too. I wouldn't do it again. But then again... buy it now at £119 - P&P at £40 and then a £40 tax is still £199
I think it's 50/50 really. A song is a song, the code is all there, it just depends on if it's region-specific code. I wouldn't have thought Harmonix would have done that, but EA may well want them to.what are the chances that USA content will work on the PAL versions come the PAL launch?
