Honestly, I think people have a bad idea about Madrid due some press bullshits. Mou is doing exactly the same he did at Stanford Bridge or Giuseppe Meazza. The difference is the repercussion in the press, I mean, we all know how Spanish press acts, they tend to make things in an extreme way. Actually I don't see where Madrid were disrespectful with rivals (apart of Preciado's theme). In fact, it's Catalonia press who are flaming things. Every single day they put Madrid in their front page: "Cristiano bla bla bla", "Mourinho bla bla bla", "0-8 tiembla Madrid", "Cantera Barça 8-1 Madrid Cantera", etc, etc.
Honestly, I think you're not aware of how things are unfolding in Spain. Up to the 80s and 90s, Madrid was the first choice team for most of the football fans. It's tipical in Spain to be fan of your local team and also being simpathiser of Madrid or Barcelona. And Madrid was cheered in a lot of stadiums (just like Juventus has traditionally been in most of italy stadiums.
In the last years, the trend has changed dramatically and not only because of the success of Guardiola's team. There's a lot of hatred towards Madrid and not towards Barcelona because of HOW things are being done. It's usual to have Ronaldo and Mourinho booed in EVERY stadium in Spain, something that would have been unthinkable 10 years ago.
Catalan press is only influential in Catalonia, as you should know, while Marca and As, that sell 75% of sportive press, are managed by Florentino's puppets and their editorials are always emphasizing how great Cristiano, Mou and Madrid are. So, despite this press power, Madrid is being booed by fans all around. There may be something else than Catalan shitty press about it, right?
90% of the coaches have told to the press that Mourinho is being disrespectful with them. He has even charged against referees and told "go to shit" to a ref. He didn't even ask for forgiveness and recently told he was very happy to have done so and was very proud of his actions.
If I were a Madrid fan I would be worried about it. And in fact I know a lot of Madrid supporters here in Barcelona that are a bit ashamed of the club as it is right now. You can put all the excuses you want, if you were fair you would accept that all this hatred have to come from somewhere.
I say it again, a winning mentality doesn't imply being disrespectful, insulting people and being a prick. Guardiola has a winning mentality and doesn't act like a spoiled child all the time, and he's not being booed anywhere. When Mourinho went to San Siro two weeks ago, he appeared to the pitch and showed "three fingers" to the Milan supporters, remembering the treble of Inter last season. Now, when everyone is trying to eliminate violence from football, do you think this guy is doing the right thing? I can't think of any serious person who would like that. It's pathetic.
