Rangers Thread

Well I guess he will as he is another of the divers :mrgreen: But we have good experience of playing with the cheaters (Celtic) so it should help us, Moore will mark him out the game again anyway, and if not Big Bob (god help us) will snap him ;)
 
Man, all this talk of diving just reminds me of the van-hooijdonk shambles a couple of year ago, remember that, the cunt fell over twice and got 2 freekicks and 2 goals!! now THAT was diving.... Mols did make a meal of it though I agree, but most players do. Petrov's penalty against thistle, well, I think he conned the ref, which is easy enough to do, and you cant really blame him, if they had a decent ref that day he would have got booked for diving IMO. The league is a disgrace, especially some of the refs. Players dive all the time, its a sad fact of modern football. FIFA/UEFA need to clamp down on it more.
 
Pierre learned all his diving at Parkheid, its all they do in training, go down to the tattie field they train on and watch them :mrgreen:
 
I agree FIFA and UEFA really need to sink the boot in to divers, even those who are fouled but try and make it look worse. I said myself Petrov's was a dive against Thistle, still believe that to be the case. However yesterday Mols was not tugged enough to make him fall, nevermind the fact he ran another few yards before ridiculously dropping. If he'd have went down when he was tugged it would have been soft, without the extra few steps and then a half-hearted fall.

As for Rivaldo, Scotsport must really be desperate for publicity if they're starting rumours like this, I mean their main coverage is Bell's lower league football and the Junior Cup final. See you on Scotsport next year Zico :mrgreen: .

A tug on your jersey when running is more than enough to send you down, guess you dont play much footy Danny, still nevermind, next you will be saying sneezing near to Mutton is reason enough to drop like a stone and get another PK, then again maybe the bottle merchant will miss it anyway :-)
 
Aye a tug can send you down if you're tugging from behind the player, not from the side, and it wasn't even a tug he put his arm around him and immediately withdrew it, no shirt was clasped. It matters not anyway because Mols continued his run till he saw the chance go, then he dived.

C'mon FS that dive by Mols was a hundred times worse than the dive by Petrov at Partick.

It's wierd because i actually hate the pair of them, even tho they done great things for Aberdeen. I remember we use to turn Rangers and Celtic over easily away from home infront of empty stadiums. Ahhh the memories!!!! :mrgreen:

Firstly, u cant tell how a player is going to play in our game until he's here.
The Blackburn (now Rangers) forward may not be good by ur/premiership standards atm, but to write him off before he's even here is just shite.
I mean, look wat Eck has acheaved since he came, its crazy progress yet u accuse him of panic buying? Come on, mabe he's baught to pile them in whilst in scotland rather than to make european progress. the big nowegian could turn out a cracker if he adapts to our game.

Mols dived big style but he's not a natural diver. its just unfortunate that he turns so quick the players hav no option but to bring him down. just watch it, its a complete fact.

As for saying we'll get pumped in europe. i feel thats totally unfair as u never know what way its going to go, u can make an educated guess based on stats and watching experiance but u cant say we're gonna get pumped - again shite.

Celtic will do better than Rangers due to the fact that they work great as a team (rather than having any perticular marvellous players, aside Henrik), that is how i belive they did so well in europe last year.

Give Rangers a chance before u write us off tho, i think thats a lil unfair at this stage.

Celtic made it past XMas in Europe for the 1st time in 20 years and they think they are big all of a sudden LOL I cant wait till the CL group brings them back down to size, its gonna be great.

Celtic are nothing in Europe and 2nd best in Scotland, their fans hype is larger than their paranoia and thats all they have, hype and paranoia!
 
I spent most of the day trying to get through to the ticket hotline. I never realised the police shut it down cos of the riots at Ibrox etc

Looks like it's the season ticket seat then. I wanted Copland Front.

Yeah he could end up being a smash, I'm just saying I don't think he will be as he's never been a smash anywhere else I've seen him. He reminds me of Flo.

Yep he does have fantastic agility and would be even better if not for his injury, but you can't say he "dived big style" then say "but he's not a natural diver" all in the one sentence. He dived, he didn't make the most of it - he's a diver.

FFS there's such a thing as winding people up, evidently it worked with you though you weren't the target (see you know who's last post, we've said on many occasions we don't EXPECT qualification but yet he keeps this up). Rangers have as much chance of raising their game and doing well due to the occasion as they do of being pumped. But you'll get pumped ;)

Ive been taking an interest in whats going on with Rangers, my mate was in Glasgow last weekend and said alot of people we're talking about it, specially when they found out he's a manc (a city fan though).

It seems that like us Rangers are having injury/personel problems at the mo.

Im looking foward to the game more than when the draw was done and might even go with it being a one off.....

But Classic's right, you will be getting done over... :mrgreen:
 
Mabe it was a bad choice of words. yeh he's a diver due to the time he dived in that game. what i was trying to say (perhaps poorly) was that he aint a dirty diver unlike other players on the other side of glasgow who will remain nameless

What players from Thistle are you talking about? :D

Every team has some players who " milk it " the OF have probably the worst, it doesn't help when the majority of fans in the ground are OF fans and they are screaming for a penalty ( me included ).
