anyway ea have released 2 games on 360 already so they are used to the hardware and stuff like that now were as konami haven't released pes for 360 yet

EA's been working on FIFA07 for 2 years allegedly. PES6 in less then a year I believe.

Where does it say you CAN change socks?

Oh and whilst the lack of untucked shirts may be disappointing, if thats the worst thing PES6 has to offer, I will be delighted.

BTW, I'm pretty sure PS2 and 360 versions will have the same content :)

God, MS are even doing a bundle with PES6, how could Konami release an "incomplete" game !?!

Maybe the same content stadium-wise, but not for the rest of the game.
Just think about the on-line features and the full edit for the PS2.
Also I think PS2 has no widescreen-option.

on a side note, FIFA 07 is loking realy good on the 360 TBH. i am notr a fanboy of either fifa or pro, i have always favoured pro over fifa but judging from previous and videos of fifa 07, i may turn into the dark side hehe..

if fifa is better than pro i will get that instead. i can easily buy both but like others have said before, its pointless getting two football games

(Salon mondial de l'Auto 2006 - Paris 15 - Porte de Versailles. Pro Evolution soccer 6 en démonstration)


Avant de rentrer dans le détail un petit préambule explicatif peut être utile.
Ainsi j'ai appris hier soir notamment par un de nos membres de planete-pes.com (JLCollina )que le jeu PES 6 tournait sur le salon de l'automobile Porte de Versailles à PARIS. Ce salon se déroule chaque année en alternance avec la ville de Francfort en Allemagne.
Habitant pas trop loin et étant d'un naturel curieux, je me suis dit au levé ce matin : banco !
Me voilà parti en quête du Graal.
Arrivée dans l'enceinte du Parc des Expo à 14h00, je vous passe les galères de parking, je n'ai pas tergiversé et muni d'un plan préalablement imprimé sur le net je me dirige sur les lieux du crime, j'ai nommé le Hall 5.

Arrivé dans le Hall 5 au rez de chaussée on ne peut pas louper le stad X BOX 360, un espèce de grand showroom avec en son centre une plateforme pour jeu de caisse (PGR3) sur 4 écrans videoprojecteurs et tout autour en cercle une quinzaine de borne de jeu. A droite en entrant dans le cercle videoludique, que vois-je?! 2 bornes avec du vert à l'écran, mon sang ne fait qu'un tour : c'est bien PES 6 sur X BOX 360.

Et oui seulement 2 bornes lui sont dédiées mais n'oublions pas que nous sommes au salon de l'auto pas du foot. Donc je me faufile avec malice et mes 80 kilos entre les badauds pour me frayer une place au plus près du débat. Ca y est mon eil de passioné va pouvoir s'exercer!



Mes impressions :

Pour comprendre mes sensations il faut avant tout que vous connaissiez ma façon de voir PES et mes attentes sur ce PES 6 pour pouvoir vous jauger par rapport à mes impressions.
Pour vous faire une idée j'ai aimé PES 5 (PC) à sa sortie, étant accroc du online sur cette version je ne jouait que sur le net. Puis Winning Eleven 10 est arrivé, donc j'ai laché PES 5 (nouvelles animations, envie de gratter un peu le jeu).
J'ai alors vite été exaspéré par les gros défauts de cet opus (gardien aux gants en peau de banane, contre favorable à outrance, IA défensive à la limite de la L1...)
Et puis dans la foulée j'ai découvert Winning Eleven 9 Liveware Evolution. Version koréenne postérieure à PES 5 PC qui en gommait les nombreux travers (IA adverse peu imaginative, arbitrage insupportable, action un peu trop répétitives, animations trop scriptées). C'est celle-ci que je fais tourner actuellement sur mon PC.

C'est avec toute ces références et les nombreus videos, screens, rumeurs et espoirs que je m'apprêtais à tater la bêêêête.

Je vous propose des avis points par points avant de vous donner mon sentiment global.



Le contenu :

Autant le dire tout de suite, certaines questions resteront en suspens car je n'ai pas pu , vu le contexte, m'approprié le jeu et me balader dans les menus. Donc pas d'info sur le mode edit.
La Juve est bien là dans les autres équipes, et je ne saurais pas vous dire les autres équipes hors ligue car je ne parle pas couramment le Konamien qui remplace les vrais noms de certains clubs.


Les graphismes :

C'est une notion très subjective. En effet je ne suis pas adepte de la 360 de Microsoft donc je suis forcément satisfait de la qualité globale d'un jeu next gen. Ce qui m'a frappé en premier lieu est que le jeu rend différemment selon les réglages de l'écran sur lequel il tourne, la connectique utilisée et selon le LCd lui même. Je m'explique. Ne serait ce que sur le modèle du LCD la qualité du rendu diffère, logique. Idem si on brache ça en péritel ou en YUV. Alors même si la plupart du temps les jeux tournent sur une Samsung LE32R51B, les réglages (couleurs, contraste...) font que le jeu ressort plus ou moins. Ainsi j'ai trouvé parfois le jeu trop flashi et les couleurs trop agressives pour un jeu voué au réalisme. Et sur l'écran d'à coté trop pastel, trop effacé. Sur un 3 ème, [et là vous vous dites (si vous avez bien suivi) mais pourquoi il parle 'un 3 ème écran alors qu'il a dit plus tôt qu'il n'y avait que 2 bornes PES 6, mais je vous expliquerais plus tard...] le jeu était très bien dosé en réglages visuels et était très agréable à l'oeil.

Les cages sont très belles et bien détaillées, un plaisir de faire trembler les filets. Les visages des joueurs sont plus ou moins bien modélisés, certains comme crespo sont très réalistes, d'autres un peu plus effacés.
Je regrette de ne pas avoir pu me placer un peu plus loin que 50 cm de l'écran, car c'est beaucoup trop près pour un LCD. Dommage.

Je n'ai pas aimé les ballons Adidas F50+ mais les ballons Reebok s'en sortent honorablement visuellement parlant.

Les pelouses sont assez moyennes je trouve, pas trop détaillées. Les stades et l'environnemet général je n'ai pas trop pu les contempler vu le contexte. Les animations des joueurs sont très fluides et ça favorise la beauté générale du jeu et l'immersion dans la bataille.

Pour résumé, le jeu est beau ça c'est sûr, peut etre pa à la hauteur d'un jeu Next Gen qui exploiterait la machine au mieux mais n'oublions que ce n'est que le premier opus sur ce type de console.


Les effectifs :

J'ai été heureusement surpris de voir un Valbuena à l'OM ou encore un P.A. Frau au PSG où un Ashley Cole sur le côté gauche de la défense de Chelsea, pareil pour Gallas à Arsenal. Tout semble à jour de ce côté là et ça fait bien plaisir. Toutefois on regrette (pour le principe car pour le coeur...) la présence d'un Zidane en EDF. Les équipes nationales semblent composées des sélections de la dernière Coupe du Monde pour les équipes concernées.


Le gameplay :

Tout le monde sait que c'est là que la force de la lignée PES/WE réside. Un gameplay défectueux et c'est le l'opus tout entier qui est bon à jeter, les fans de la série sont exigeant sur cepoint, et je pense faire partie de ceux là.
Le premier sentiment est que Konami semble avoir fait table rase de WE10 et avoir rebâti un gameplay plus proche de PES 5 que de WE10.

Pourquoi j'ai ressenti ça? Surement parce que même si la sensation de liberté qui avait surpris les joueurs de WE10 est à nouveau présente dans ce PES 6, on sent bien que Konami a voulu la canaliser. Fini les contres à outrance qui permettait de passer à tout prix tel un bulldozer dans la défense adverse au profit d'enchainements d'accélération et de contre. La balle est plus libre que dans PES 5 mais les contres sont moins rageants que dans We10 car ils font suite à une relative logique mécanique qui veut que lorsque la balle
rebondit sur une partie du corps du joueur qui arrive au contact celle-ci change de direction. Donc pour que l'attaquant bénéficie d'un contre il faut une raison, le sentiment du "tous les contres pour l'attaquant" semble disparu.

Coté vitesse de jeu, encore une fois j'ai été surpris de constater que le jeu semblait aller plus ou moins vite selon : la vue utilisée (une vue grand angle fait paraitre le terrain plus grand et les joueurs plus rapides et vice versa), l'écran sur lequel tourne le jeu.
Globalement je trouve cette version assez équilibrée sur le plan de la vitesse. Un joueur comme Henry va vous sembler plus léger qu'un joueur massif et moins véloce. On a vraiment l'impression parfois de sentir la différence physique entre les gabarits dans les contacts et dans les courses.
Les contacts entre joueurs sont assez bien gérés et ainsi 2 joueurs qui se percutent donneront lieu à une chute ou un écart. Je n'ai pas constaté de joueur qui "glissait" sur un autre. Les duels aériens ou en petit périmère sont assez fun et moins brouillon que dans WE10.

Coté animations on constate que les animations de WE10 ont été reprises avec succès, et celles-ci interviennent de façon assez cohérente et ajoute à la fluidité de l'ensemble. Les chutes suite aux fautes sont assez sympas.

Point de vue de la manette X BOX 360, j'avoue que je la pratique jamais et qu'il m'a fallu un temps d'adaptation. Il est évident que la confguration de la manette n'est pas la plus indiquée pour un jeu de foot et de sport en général mais on fait avec, c'est jouable tout de même.


Les données des matchs.

Le dernier rempart.
Les gardiens sont assez bien dosés je trouve. Je vous rassure tout de suite les gardiens de We10 ne sont plus qu'un mauvas souvenir, ouf... J'ai vu de belles parades et de belles envolées par des très bon gardien, par des gardiens moyens aussi. J'ai aussi vu des buts marqué facilement par l'attaquant car le gardien ne fais pas le bon choix sur le plongeon, c'est assez réaliste finalement. J'ai bien aimé une envolée de Barthez pour la photos alors que le coup franc adverse passait à 1 mètre de la lucarne. Dans d'autres opus le gardien jugeait un peu trop facilement à mon goûtt les trajectoires et ne faisaient que regarder la balle passer à côté. J'ai trouvé dans l'ensemble les gardiens assez bien équilibrés, aucun ballon relaché sur l'attaquant en tout cas, signe que We10 a été analysé.

Les défenseurs.
Ils peuvent parfois etre pris de vitesse si l'on se jette sans y réfléchir à l'assaut du joueur adverse. J'ai bien senti que parfois il fallait mieux être attentiste en défense et gérer l'attaque adverse que de foncer sur le joueur et tacler à l'emporte pièce. Il faudra revoir un peu notre façon de défendre car le surplus de liberté cher à Mr Seabass va nous trahir dans nos repères. Je ne trouve pas ça plus mal. Toute intervention défensive efficace pourra procurer du plaisir au mêm titre qu'une belle action, qu'une belle phase de jeu ou qu'un beau but.Je n'ai que rarement été surpris par un changement de curseur inopportun, de toute façon je mettrais pour ma part en mode manuel, c'est ce qui m'apporte le plus de maîtrise. Les coéquipierssemblent asseze cohérents dans leur placement mais il faut plusieurs heures de matchs pour réellement se faire une opinion à ce sujet.

La bataille du milieu.
A l'image du football moderne, on se rendra à mon avis vite compte que le match peut se gagner ou se perdre en milieu de terrain. Chaque attaque adverse pouvant être meurtrière si on ne maitrise pas bien son affaire il faut être un mort de faim au milieu et anticiper les intervalles qui peuvent laisser place à une banderille adverse. Un gabarit comme Viera s'imposera par sa puissance alors que Makelele est plus un voleur de ballon.

L'Offensive.
J'ai été assez satisfait des appels fournis par mes attaquants quand le cuir se trouvait à hauteur du milieu de terrain. Les attaquant semblent soucieux de donner des solutions. Balle au pied l'attaquant peut faire seul la différence mais rien n'empechera un défenseur d'effectuer le geste qu'il faut et couper court à toute véléhité d'un Henry enragé ou d'un Adriano des grands soirs. Encore une fois il va s'agir d'avoir le bon timing.
Coté tir j'ai été un peu déçu de certains tirs un peu trop flottants à mon goût mais j'ai aussi pu voir un Fernando Torres envoyer une saccarine des 25 mètres. Au final les tirs à effectuer sont assez variés et peuvent donner à de beaux buts sans se perdre dans un score de babyfoot. J'ai vu des 0-0 et personnellement mes 2 matchs ont donné lieu à 5-1 (Arsenal-Barça) et 2-3 (France-Espagne).

L'Homme en Noir.
Gros défaut de PES 5, assez bon pour We10, l'arbitrage est un point très important de l'équilibre général d'un jeu. Prenez un arbitre à la PES 5 et vous serez bon pour une manette neuve si vous êtes un joueur plutôt "passionné". Prenez un arbitre trop cool et vous aurez droit à des matchs boucheries accouchant péniblement de carton jaune trop pâles à nos yeux.
Pour ce PES 6 je n'ai quasiment pas raler contre l'arbitre. J'ai tout de même lacher un ptit juron quand Gallas s'est vu infligé un rouge pour un tacle par derrière aux 20 mètres alors que je ne semblait pas être en position de dernier défenseur. Mais à y réfléchir ce rouge était plutôt logique (rraahhh ça m'a quand même coûté le 2 ème match). Les hors jeu applique la règle du hors jeu actif et tant qu'un de vos joueurs fautifs ne s'approche pas du ballon le jeu continue, règle FIFA quoi. Donc plutôt un bon arbitrage sur cette version. Konami semble avoir trouvé une recette agréable.

Conditions climatiques.
Je n'ai pas trop fait attention sur le point de savoir si la météo était changeante. Peut être signe que j'étais bien entré dans mes matchs? La pluie est là ça c'est certain (pour ceux qui se posaient la question).




Conlusion :
Les sensations pad en main sont dans l'ensemble assez bonnes. Je n'ai pas eu ce sentiment d'incompréhension qui m'avait envahi lorsque j'avais goûté pour la première fois à We10. Là rien ne choque, rien ne révolutionne le secteur video ludique, mais finalement pour un premier jeu Next Gen, Konami ne devait il pas consolider ses acquis (arbitrage et liberté de We10) tout en rectifiant ses lacunes (gardiens passoires au Q.I. douteux, répétition excessive des contres). On sent que Konami a voulu avant tout ne pas décevoir à nouveau la communauté des fans de la série assez circonspecte quant à l'évolution entamée par We10.

Je ne pense pas que dire que ce jeu est arcade ou simulation fasse avancer le débat et permette à qui que ce soit de savoir si le jeu va lui convenir. C'est pourquoi je qualifierais ce jeu d'équilibré.
Bien entendu rien ne vaut le jugement par soi même, manette en main. Mais j'ai tout de même tenté de vous décrire ce que pourrait être PES6 pour moi si les premières sensations d'aujourd'hui se confirment à la sortie du jeu, parce que moi même je fais partie de cette communuaté qui trépigne d'en savoir en attendant de pouvoir chacun se faire une idée le 27 octobre prochain.


Pour clôre mon escapade au salon de l'auto, j'ai pu dévouvrir un stand au Hall 2, stand tenu par AB Moteurs et NT1, 2 chaines satellite et TNT (pour NT1). Là 4 bornes de jeu était affectées à des petits tournois de PES 6 sur ps2 et 360 (surtout pour enfants). 3 mecs de chez Konami étaient présents pour gérer ce stand. C'est d'ailleurs là que j'ai pu définitivement noter que l'image de la 360 était différente selon les réglages et le modèle de l'écran.

En tout cas j'ai passé une bonne après midi, avec des voitures de rêves, des animations sympas et un PES 6 qui s'annonce plutôt intéressant
