The stats are revised by a geat number of editors here on evo web ...so never use Konamis default database.

Konami could perhaps utilise the services of several editors on this website to improving the overall package. ;)

The cards sounds promising, I hope the Edit Player Position - bias arrows isn't permanently removed also.

I don't get some of these card features:

How will "Super Sub" work?
Scoop kick? Lob shot?


Balance
Quick Turn
Long Ranger
Free Roaming
Reaction
1-touch play
Mazing Run
Incisive Run
1-on-1
Scoop Kick
Scissors
Footed (did they mean 2 foot feint?)
Outside Curve
Dummy Run
Chasing Back
Super Sub
All Out Attack (?)

Some are a little odd but may be translated badly, I assume the footed is 2 footed...
The super sub will be like Solskjaer, a player able to make an instant impact...

So his stats will be higher if you bring him off the bench instead of starting him?

Maybe 'normal' players will need some minutes to get full stats, and super-sup players will have them instant.

Odd distance between the seats in Anfield :/

If he came off the bench, Iniesta will be able to get into the flow of Barca and Spain's tempo quicker than your average player.

The rating system could mean how well he plays in a certain position overall ie CM = 96

Infact I think it does mean that.

Do I undertand this properly?

The cards will be replacing the traditional special abilities.
But these cards will affect the way the player passes, recieves passes and attacks. In other words if you needed a goal in the last minutes and you had an option to bring on either Iniesta or Keita you'ld use Iniesta because he would make more incisive runs and play higher up. But if you were defending a lead then you would opt for Keita as he plays deeper and doesn't push up as much.

This is coupled with the sliders so if I brought on Iniesta I would adjust the sliders to fit the substitution better and make the team attack more.

If this is the case Konami are pulling off some serious shit here.

You can turn some cards on and off too to make players less or more attacking...

That's the daft part IMO Iniesta is Iniesta how can I turn off incisive running if it's what he does?

O wait is that the role you play as manager. So if you brought him on to be a super sub and he gets the equaliser then you use the sliders to make the team sit back and toggle the attributes off. Or you adjust them to make the player a more counter attacking force for when the opposition start to tighten the screws.

Not sure how it's going to work in practice, as you say you could ask the team as a whole to play less attacking but turning a players skill on and off sounds a little odd...

Some cards are permanent;)
Incisive run should be one of them.

hm, forwards only have some area where they are good, i.e. in passing they arent that good, which will cause this low 80 for torres...
