They really did take the lightning to another level this year. Rooney's face is nothing short of amazing. Hoping the gameplay can live up to this.

Without a proper LOD mixer all the players have the same body in pes man, no untucked shirts can be spoted , with that messi will have the same body as xavi or iniesta and torres the same as gerrard... i cant stand that(u can call it a fetish :LOL: )... i really want to enjoy pes2010(and i sure the gameplay wont be a problem since i will get used to it if i play long enough...the game will grow on me naturally. heck i enjoyed pes2008 after a long month giving it a go) but for that to happen i must be happy in the gfx aspects so i really need Juce to make his miracles again and give us a LOD mix, so i can have players looking perfect on the wide camera(im evan considering getting a new gfx card if needed).

but it depends on your cpu...if you have a goof cpu you see all details from wide camera even without lodmixer this year on pes 2010 in difference to pes 2009

I was actually speaking from what i saw on the PS3/360 version... on pc i can imagine how it will look like, better than on the consoles but still not the best possible, can u imagine how this game will look if we can set the LOD to maximum? its gonna be out of this world man! :D

Sad but true :(

I really don't like PES 2010, but I love PES 2010 on PS2. So there must be something wrong in-between.

I just hope they fix it.

Oh and BTW, Konami asked the community for feedback, but what did they actually put in? Surely they can't use 'untucked shirts' as something.

I asked for proper nets and animations, as did everybody else...

I dont understand why people have to decide between one or the other game....Why cant we like both and play both with a diferent mindset(not saying u gotta like both)?? PES is the best game when i want to play PES and FIFA is the best when i want to play FIFA , although we are talking about 2 games of the same sport they both have very diferent ways in portraiting the sport and imo both ways are very valid.

I dont compare them and i dont need to, theyre diferent... for me it would be the same as comparing Halo and COD...theyre just too diferent althoguth they fall in the same category(shooter).

Can't agree more. I will enjoy FIFA and PES without compare each other... Both games have strong and weak points. IMO has PES more weak points but I do not bother. It is enjoyable (can't wait to patch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :APPLAUD:)

(PES2010 has nicer graphics, but there are still many generic faces and other issues. The movement/running animations are too similar. The game pace is arcadey, as from this video people can score screamers and long shots easily. The pitch conditions still sterile.) And, unbelievably, they have the untucked shirt option BUT it is not in the gameplay, only, magically, during cut scenes and replays (same problem as last year's). What is the point of this returning option if this option is not in the gameplay, as it ruins the realism a lot. Unless I am wrong and/or the retail version has corrected this problem, this is sloppy work by Konami who promised to implement this untucked shirt option. I was hoping Konami would fix these important problems at least, never mind the bigger issues it has with other gameplay and insufficient edit elements and licenses. :SHOCK:

Thing is if people kept making sly little digs at other posters in another so-called more mature thread where apparently people can discuss a certain game without fanboyism can you imagine the outcry. Fact is a certain new release has opened the floodgates for that now.

Thing is the same old people rear there head and have a wee pop and then complain when someone questions them .
