Are we talking about real life ? I can honestly say apart from a few You-Tube clips I have never seen him play. So you will have to forgive my ignorance there bud. He was just my favourite player on the game last year. And he did everything I mentioned there, 100%, he was a different class in his 4th 5th and 6th season with me. I didnt know anything about him till I did some research after I'd bought him in my ML.

As for Del Piero, he is what I'd class at creative stiker, or support striker, fully worthy of a Number 10 jersey. His vision was brilliant, he had two great feet, excellent technique and probably created as many as he scored. I dont really understand what you mean ?

Ok, they are not your legendary Number 10's in the ilk of the Pele's, Maradona's, Platini's, but they are still worthy of the shirt, IMO.

I absolutely freakin love that playlist. My PES2009 consisted mostly of Seether, Smashing Pumkins, Stereophonics, Live and Prodigy.
This game keeps getting better and better. Except of course the boot stats and the inability to assign nationalities to C League players.

I think the face argument doesn't work no more.

Reason is FIFA is bad, BUT you can tell who they are trying to copy. So not too bad in the end. EA has some decent level faces, where PES is amazing.

But overall the players have more personality in FIFA through real animations. If only PES had FIFA animations, IMO that alone would make PES better than FIFA to all animation lovers.

I think that right there would shut many people up.

To the point about no untucked shirt in Wide Cam and not having the other cams in the game - I also think this is another area where Konami hasnt hashed out the problems so they just didnt include them.

2K had the issue in their baseball game with all the player models wearing the standard uni on the far cam and you could only see the different uni models on a closeup. NBA2k10 has horrendous framerate issues on some of its cams making certain modes near unplayable and are working on a fix.

Back to Jimmy - ok you can be forgiven for the Lavezzi one.

Del Piero never did it for me as a creative player - everytime he drops back to initiate play it usually doesnt come off but he does have great tech and can score or lay off a pass around the area (have no real prob with him wearing no. 10 though he should give it up to Diego now if we were being traditionalist)

Who I'll give classic no. 10 (in the game) to - Totti, Riquelme, Diego, Seedorf, Modric, Pastore - its a shame they only allow it for AMF - it could go for some CMF and SS

we wont be able to make a full proper option file now because konami have fucked up the number of emblems and kit spaces available,only 40 emblem spaces is stupid considering theres about 60 unlicenced teams that need them,why oh why cant they just let us use the free space on our hd for unlimited emblems kits and faces,im not a happy man!!

Really?

I'd say it's the other way around. I can instantly spot the players from a distance in PES, but in Fifa I have to look at the player name bar.

I agree, although the details like untucked shirts are lost. From wide can things like player height and hairstyle are better in PES, as are the kit and boot details.

You think Konami will be very upset with reviews? They started promoting PES 2010 early this year and involved community, they must be lost right now. What do they do next?

get a new engine. Be prepared to take a hit for year but come back stronger.

new engine in one year?

I think new animations (a lot of them!) and maybe new passing system will work for next year.

then I want ore stadiums and more edit functions :)

Knowing Konami they are probably completely oblivious to the reviews in the western gaming media. Sales are all that matter and PES has sold consistently well even when the quality has dropped. I don't think PES2010 will be any different due to the game's cult following.
