It makes sense for boots to affect performance. I just hope it's a very subtle difference, perhaps adding a single point to a players stats here and there.

I doubt having +5 on a boot's stats means a player for eg goes from 75 top speed to 80.

lol I remember the predator craze. People going out and buying them believing somehow that would be give them some extra edge. Technique is what matters. Put Messi in Adidas, Nike, Puma, Gola or just 2 bits of leather sticked together I am pretty sure u will see the same player.

LOL I was in school during the Predator craze and the amount of fools that got their parents to buy them those boots thinking it would make them some kind of super player was hilarious

You're telling me if FIFA introduced boots with stats before PES, that everyone here wouldn't be laughing their asses off and calling it even more of an arcade game? :LOL:

True, it is a pretty silly IMHO. It's does stink of an EA DLC pack though, rather than a Konami feature.

He is when he signs for my Boro team ;) And as a player, he is what I'd class as a typical No.10. Composed, great 1st touch, vision, two good feet, tricky, excellent shot technique and a natural playmaker with a killer pass.

And Buzzy, I might 'get it' for my laptop. Rob92 kindly gave me an idiots guide to PC gaming, I've saved the mail for PES 2010. Just swapped my laptop again actually for a Sony Vaio, it seems like a nice bit of kit to be honest.

I think that the stats on boots will not affect anything in the players, is just for you to choose wich are more appropriated for your tipe of game

Thanks for posting the link to the face comparisons. Some of the FIFA faces surprised me with their quality. On the whole PES faces appear better, but the PES Tevez looks a like a girl IMO.

the problem with PES is when the game goes to the playing cameras....most players look the same, u cant see untucked shirts...
and thats where imo FIFA shines...u can spot players like Fellaini 1mile away on fifa.

Maybe there will be some tool like LOD mixer or something and you will be able to change it.

According to Fifa faces - they all look like they wanted to bite you. I played Resident Evil 5 recently and i swear Fifa players look exactly like zombies from RE.

I am glad to see someone brought back the face argument.

Which is a kinda paradox, not to lose its face pes has to rely entirely on its faces...

Loss some faith in you Jimmy - Lavezzi may play as a no. 10 when you use him but he hardly ever picks up his head and Del Piero - sorry.

The cards work - I think some better than others and the sliders work but dont know why they went with the 1 digit increments - 4 or 5 settings would have been better imo.

game needs to hurry up and drop - the demo can only hold you over so much.

yeh, a lod mixer would do it(hopefully juce makes it), but what about the console players? they dont have this possibility.

Faces are nice for replays and for the intro, which i hardly ever watch.
I'd rather have recognisable players on wide cam, or excellent gameplay, or better running animations

Yes indeed, maybe the gamplay of fifa better on next-gen, i only have pc and ps2 so i cant say how fifa is on ps3/xbox, but on pc..not worth to mention.

SO lets hope Konami will not dissapoint us.
