Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Got to say though - the x360 controller is utter rubbish (sensitivity-wise) I have played the demo on 360 and on PC (with 360 controller and PS3 controller)

The PS3 one is much more sensitive to varying inputs and it is evident in gameplay - hopefully the PS3 version of the game plays this way as I will get that version along with the PC.

I hope the goalies really are refined (that was the only scare from the reviews I took away) because the sliders and cards DO work.

If you setup all the teams correctly - massive replay value

- Just sort out the lag and gaming bliss awaits

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

ok here's my impressions from PES2010 online demo

IT BLOWS

I was so hyped on this, you say there's no lag? I have fuckin hardcore lag almost every time, it's totally unplayable on red/yellow bar, green is fine but it doesn't matter because :

input lag on buttons is also fucking hardcore, it takes a while to turn with a player, it's sooo sluggish I can't stand it. Even if they fix this there is another gripe wchich is :

shitty gameplay - this game screams PES2008/2009, there's too much from new version than pastgen core, players silly runs, passes and running on rails, shots are ok but who cares? where's freedom? where's tactics edge? all people do online is pass with triangles on wings and run with Messi who is unstoppable ; cheap cutbacks are of course in

thanks you PESfan for the code, now I know I'm not buying it, because all I wanted is some good online action, but it's laughable at best.

Konami :FAIL:

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

oh god no, konami start fucking up the kits aswell. their overlay business was a great idea, but it seems like tbey only have 1 set of kits for each team now which means the secondary sponsor logos on sleeves and back will stay on their

playing champions league

NOOOOO.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

If the game is that way as only1ronaldo describes you'd guys be better to stay away from buying the game if we want someday a better PES. This game deserves better treatment from the developers. They got lots of our money in the past years anyway. Where have they gone? Where are the investments on the game??Why?

I was taking an interest in your post until the 'shitty gameplay screaming of PES2008 part, where you lost all credibility.

Happy gaming.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

LOL... well it is right, PES 2009 is completely different to the demo... so I guess you will only say negative things about the game... zzzz

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

just read through all the review pages on here and its getting the general score I would give it myself, 7/10

it pisses me off in these forums when people claim the reviewers are biased because of the scores they are giving, if the same scores was given to FIFA then everyone would be saying that the reviewers are on top of there game.

I personally would review FIFA at 8/10

Im ready for the usual fanboy chants aimed at me for this and getting shit like Charlie does for speaking his mind but fuck it, it my opinion at the end of the day

It must be your connection because all my games were free of lag, the game felt alot smoother abit like WE2010. There is one shitty exploit this guy was using where you hold down the cross button till its full, and it delivers a perfect cross on the edge of the 6 yard box and your defender doesnt even jump for it allowing a free header i lost 4-2 because of that. And Germany must be quite good on this game because every person i played chose them, and too many R1 whores

Fair score:
FIFA10 8/10
PES2010 7.5/10

honestly... but the 9+ scores we're seeing for FIFA10 are plain ridiculous.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Digiex forum uploaded the PES 2010 - online demo - (online mode)
Anyone with a XBOX 360 can download it on PC and burn into a DVD. Works on any XBOX 360.

I've had about 20 games against a mate (which is the best way to get an impression of this games value). What I felt through him (who doesn't get to play the game in different development levels) was that there is a an old sort of passion feeling back whereas in 2008 and 2009 there was a general feeling of "whatever" in different weird situations in the games.

Roll on the 22nd!

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

The usual false marketing from Konami, they announced 360 degree dribbling at the end and it's barely there, hell, some reviews say it doesn't even exist! And some have the insolence to compare it to FIFA's which is actually there. Massive failure once again.

High scores because of easy headers are a bit worrying. In the demo i score 1 goal every 2 crosses i put in the box.

Videos about 2v2 on line didn't seem match different than the average pes6 2v2, i guess some gentlemen rules like "no cutback" and "small teams" will be very much needed.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

HOOOOOOOOLY SHITTTTTTTT ... This Game is smooth as butter on my 512 kbps internet connection !!!!!!!!!!

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I wouldn't say average scores of 7/8's is "back with a bang" myself but there you go ;)

The scores mean nothing when EA Sports have sponsorship deals with most of the review sites.

FIFA got over 9.1 average with a broken game full of bugs. In fact EA have used these 'reviews' to justify why they are not going to fix any of the gameplay issues due to the "overwhelming positivity" from these review sites and the feedback they have been given. They only have to look at their own forums and other major football gaming forums to see there are major problems.

I wouldn't place too much reliance on what you read in reviews or the scores given to games. These days it's all about one thing $$$.

As above.

All I can say is let Konami worry about the scores they are getting, all you need to worry about is if you like the game or not.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Just rent the game once its released.

Like it? buy it. Dont like it? dont buy it. Sounds simple doesnt it.

Edit - Are you getting PES 2010 for the PS3 or sticking to the PC version BTW ?

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Last year, i think it was WENB or PESFan had an option file ready just a few days after release, is that happening again, or do I have to play for months with my own crappy editing

Now that's my type of player. The Classic Number 10. Del Piero, Riquelme, Lavezzi et al.

I'm loving all these player cards.

This is what you call 'Individualism' at it's very highest level. PES at it's very best. ;)
