My opinion is different. The only negative review I have read is from Meristation which honestly is the biggest pile of crap of all. Fifa 9 and PES 7.5? Come on... I agree they can think FIFA is better, but this PES does not deserve a 7.5... but I guess Meristation is biased from a long time ago, when the worst FIFA titles were treated better than worst PES titles.... and that is a real joke. Just dont bother with that kind of reviews..

Hard Gamer adds a balanced review with a 8/10 which seems reasonable.
Other sites qualify PES over 8 which is at least one step in the right direction. It was obvious that this is game is not for a 9 or 10...

I guess you will find nothing interesting since your posts here are even more negatives than charlievolano' posts (yea seems that exists :D). At least Charlie bash the game but I guess he has a genuine interest in it. You just bash the game, and with arguments like looks exactly like PES 2009... come on, even in a video you see it is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, or you are just blind...

Any review should be made at least one month after receiving game, when the problems start to appear or confirm their existence in the game.

That Floccari goal sucks, is there any defense there?

And then the reviews came and the said what many of us said, gameplay is still too stiff, robotic, angular and there is not enough innovations and that many features from old gen are still missing.

I guess that puts and end to a lot of issues. Good luck and good nite.

I see you still can't get used to this place...now people will claim that we2010 is a hell of a different game, with manual passing, hundreds of new animations, 360 passing and moving, real defending and an a fully functional on line mode.


Anyway let's wait for some real master league news (especially AI), a good master league can compesante many of pes shortcomings. After all it is a matter of fun and ML should be giving us more fun that the MM.

PESFan's review of the online test seems very positive. They claim they experienced zero lag throughout all the testing. They also state this was against people from around the world. Does this mean we can finally play against the Yanks on this new server ?

The acid test of the online will obviously be next Friday when every man and his dog flood the servers.

Very positive review from PESFan. Although they do claim that PES 2010 was slower than the PES 2010 demo. :CONFUSE:

As usual you have no arguments and you just try to attack the person.

After i played the demo it was clear to me that the structural essence of the game was unchanged.

Instead of frequently moaning about it, why don't post what you want to see/what you don't want to see in one of KONAMI's official feedback zones?

And stop making it look as if the whole world's against you when they disagree/debate your posts.

Hahaha I love this thread..
Not sure what to make of 2010 the reviews are mixed yet we have people playing the demo for days on end calling it the best game ever.

I guess we'll all have to wait and see, personally I'm hoping it's fantastic and hits EA hard. We need two great products to ensure they both kept under pressure to keep developing the product...

Online mode seems fine as far as PESFAN review says the truth.

About the reviews, they are far more positive than last year. Some places like Meristation looks really bad and zero objective so dont bother, as well as take with a pinch of salt about WENB or PESFAN. I guess we need to test it then we will see...

Com'on! Enough of the double standards galore here. Other members can post thesis long posts on why the game is great and charlie posts the negatives and is attacked.

Play fair ... I agree with the angular, rigid, robotic comments and how tons of features of years past are missing which reviewers have also picked upon. Why not go to town on the guy for his observations rather than attack or polarise?

The game is still good and better than FIFA to me but it is WELL short of where I would like it to be.

We're all routing for PES glory and more balanced and rational critiscm only helps it

On the contrary in the first part of my post, I was merely giving you suggestion. Somewhere you can vent your frustration in a positive manner.

The second part is based on my observation of your previous posts, which you practically summed up with the manner of your response.

Apparently Eurogamer does not love "Konami new mentality" as much as WENB thought....

7 is a fair score once compared to what the other sport games on the market are doing.

Media reviews of video games are completely irrelevant to me.

Grand Theft Auto 4 had worldwide critical acclaim is probably accepted by many as the best game on these current generation console sytems.

I really didn't like it after a few weeks of playing and got rid. Doesn't mean it's no good, I just didn't enjoy it.

I'll be buying PES 2010 and if I find it's not enjoyable after a month or so (time has to be given to certain types of games as there impact isn't always as immediate as playing something like Batman Arkham Asylum) I'll trade it or not play it again and move on.

Opinions are bespoke to the individual. I've got my opinion, everyone else has theirs.

It's a videogame representing the worlds most popular sport, nothing more...

Anyway that review does not say a specific word about the masterleauge...i mean come on TOM BRAMWELL....that's the f. most important game mode...you gotta talk about it in great details!!!!!!!!!!

I will have my own 'personal' review copy a week today. I cant fucking wait.

My excitement for this game will not diminish no matter what ANYONE says.

The fact I have been 'immersed' by a 5 minute demo since the day it was launched is my own personal yardstick. The fact I'm spending nearly all my spare time playing the demo over the full version of the brilliant Fight Night Round 4, is testament to PES 2010's ridiculously addictive offering.

This is going to be one long fucking week.

I've never liked eurogamer reviews really. Don't really like the site at all. The other scores and justifications from other sites seem fair
