Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Nobody, but I've played hundreds of games on the demo and every one of them is fantastic, feels like real football. I cant wait to play a nother one everytime, which is a feeling I haven't had since PES5 and WE9L, even WE10 which was still sublime.

FIFA is just horrendous, I tried again earlier tonight, abysmal.

I cant get off the WE demo, I'm loving it. My mate was over again last night, we played it for another 5 hours straight. Some of the little feints you can pull off with the players with 70+ and 80+ dribbling accuracy are subtle, cheeky, and create that extra yard required in tight games, beautifully.

We actually spent the last hour and a half playing 'Keepers'. :DD

We set all our sliders on high attacking levels, played 2 defenders each and pushed everyone else as forward as we could, and then gave ourselves some manual keeper practice. Once one of our strikers had broke clear, the other player would switch to their manual keeper and try and save the others shots, headers, volleys, etc.

Had a scream with that. Made some horrific mistakes in goal at times, but also managed to pull off some amazing saves. One cracker, tipping the ball round the post from a my mates Ronny free-kick. Classic.

Pulling off a brilliant manual save, was giving us both, just as much of a buzz as scoring a great goal. :CONFUSE:

I have never used the manual keeper option before the WE 10 demo, and will probably rarely use it in a real game, unless I'm winning of course, and fancy a cheeky stint between the sticks. :EASY:

i feel you, did that too. :D i would have loved to actually execute the save/jump. but its just all about positioning, right?!

It is about positioning, your right. But you can still dive when your out of postion. We tended to find that it was harder to actually dive when we were moving around too much. But by coming out, you can narrow the angle then stand tall, and dive left or right with the directional control and the pass button. To jump to tip it over or reach, just press the pass button. You can dive the wrong way though, it happened to me a few times. But you kind of have an idea where your opponent is going to put it by his approach and body angle, so diving that way at the right time feels very rewarding. We had a right laugh. :LMAO:

I managed to track my keeper back and tip over a lobbed shot by my mate with Robinho, it was a beauty. Controlling the keeper at corners on manual can certainly reaps rewards, but it can also get you caught out badly. Nice gamble option to have though, especially if you have an idea where your opponent might try and put the corner kick.

Again , nothing new.. Some stupid Review... I want news for online or edit mode... !Hmm , ok no more " input " lag , that is good , but who expect "pesfan.com" to say anything else? I think this is absolutely meaningless at least a preview. All the things inside are cliche . They can not say anything bad about the game since Konami have stepped on their neck

Good Night

I for one will be manual with the GK on corners. I will just have to master this in practice mode to not shoot myself online or against my mates.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Wow! pretty negative review. Here is my personal translation of their take on the Gameplay dept:

"In the previous generation of consoles, PES were always steps ahead of EA Sports. However, ever since they have been making PES games for the current next-gen consoles, there has been a complete noticeable halt in terms of technical inovation. What it did 4 years ago in previous generation consoles was oustanding. Now however, it presents a very antiquated control system, robotic, rigid and slow for those of us who were accustomed to see, and above all, feel during many matches of the past generation consoles.

All these negatives add to the lack of realism and limitations of the gameplay that we've been seeing since PES made it's appearance on current gen consoles."

But it's a great improvement over pes 2009, last year they scored that 6,5 :P

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

One thing I like (or liked) about PES is that when you make a substitute or sign a player in the Master League you can really see the difference it has made to your team. Little things can make a huge difference.

Also, the off field activities, whilst maybe not as authentic just feel more "right".

I think I'll get this for PC and start a Master League as a lower skilled team.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Tranfers are going to be up-to-date, as WENB confirmed!!!

Adam or any other insider,

Just want to verify something: will Konami release a patch on the release day to sort out all the transfers / bring them up to date???

If so, that would be the icing on the cake

THX for keeping us up-to-date

Answer: Yep :-D

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

The more vids I see, the more I dislike this game. Maybe that's because I've stopped playing WE 2010 demo after FIFA 10 was arrived. I was really looking forward to PES 2010 and my hopes were high. After playing the demo, I had a good feeling about the game, but those vids makes me crazy!

Why does no one play on broadcasting cam? Even PES 2009 was beautiful on that camera!

Oh well, I will buy it anyway for PC. Just for patching. It's a other exprerience than FIFA anyway.

I'm remaining positive for this game. There are some annoying things I see on the vids, but it'll be fine. Corner kicks for example show players using the same inside boot style. I want to see diff kicking styles for corner kicks. I currently much prefer FIFA's kicking style for corners.

.

agreed.

Because of master Juce unlocked camera option,pc user can play on broadcasting cam.

The graphic is fantastic on their cam
I can feel more and more the beauty.
