By Decemeber everyone will be bored of FIFA 10. 09 was impressive at first but after a while revealed itself to be a glitchy, buggy, spammy mess. I can already pick numerous holes in 10 after extended play of the demo and game. PES wins this year for me. Everytime I pick up the PES demo I have to stop myself from playing it, but FIFA leaves me cold. And I play with fully manual controls on slow speed.

It's good to a degree but animations and jostling aside its NOWHERE NEAR PES's more realistic weighted ball physics, AI and tactics, player individuality and even close control and dribbling. PES is far more rewarding and deeper once people get under its skin.

I totally agree with the part that fifa 09 was a totally disaster after December.
I liked the PES10 demo but i hate the players movement, they run like robots. Why can't they run like in PES5/PES6.
I hope the full game will be more fluid, the players responding will be better and online will be not so laggy than I will buy the game and forget all about fifa 10 :COOL:.

So your judging this based on a game that isnt out yet and that people will be bored of playing fifa by december?

Do you know that some guys on here have been playing fifa 09 up until the release of fifa 10?

Guys,do you know who is this guy? I was watching Pes videos at youtube and saw this guy,he is a hardcore pesfan,esp. perfect striker fan.

I just wonder maybe he is from evo-web or maybe he is perfectstrike. :LOL:

Simply the best football game i have played in twenty years and ive played the best.Finally pressure sensitive controls and a welcome return to ISS on the n64 simulation roots,ten years ive waited for this game and finally i can put the sublime perfect striker 3 to bed on the ps2 as konami have finally topped this game.Thankyou pes productions!!!!!

Dont listen to the doom merchants or naysayers pes2010 does not have response issues,its simply a more refined timing system that is unfinished and in the winning eleven demo available on the japanese psn network its as responsive as pes2009 and once mastered is sheer footballing nirvana.

Iss veterans and perfect striker veterans from the n64 will be right at home in days!!!!!!!!!!!!

No more running through whole teams this one is for skilled players as thought and build up play is required although 30 yard bomb shots are a welcome addition.The newly implemented 360 movement now takes pes into a different dimension.

Wright this one off and your making a bad decision this is a perfect simulation of the real game as i demonstrate with this drubbing of liverpool with barcelona on top player.

Please note player turns and dribbling control is also greatly enhanced in the winning eleven 2010 demo and the animation is more seamless plus the players react better and do not freeze or are un-reactive to the ball like they are in the pes2010 demo videos of brazil and winning eleven 2010 to follow shortly.Also the r2 button works and is more refined in the we demo when in the pes2010 it seems none existent.

The movement does seem more robotic than FIFA and the animations are as well. But the 360 dribbling is definitely there even though more sublty than FIFA; and especially if you combine it with good use of the R2/RT close control you actually get a decent amount of movement once you get used to it.

I'm using hyperbole when i say everyone. I still played FIFA 09 as well (in a manual league and with friends), but I had been well bored/annoyed with the game for a long long time.

What I meant is that in general there was tons of disappointment when the novelty of the new animations, 10v10, ALS all wore off, and people realized that it wasn't as utterly amazing as it had initially seemed. I can already see it in FIFA 10. It does have its plus points, but it still doesn't feel like real football to me, too lightweight, still ping pongey, poor AI etc.

I genuinely believe (its own flaws aside) that PES has nailed it this year. And yes, that is based on extensive play of a demo. I knew it from playing both demos.

I not only got bored bored of FIFA09, it started to piss me right off on so many occassions. No feeling for space whatsover, no real football defending..PES2009 despite it's flaws had a lot more staying power.

I know what you are saying and agree completely. I was one of those people that was blown away by Fifa 09 but by Christmas I was bored with it. There was nothing about it to keep me hooked.

Are his vids from the full game? He seems to waffle alot(and not use periods) so I can't tell. Is he saying the winning 11 demo is superior to pes2010 or THE DEMO of pes2010

He says like everyone, WE demo newer code and better than Pes 2010 demo.

There is no problem,if someone says fifa 10 perfect, awsome better than pes in every aspect.But who says Pes 2010 is awsome game,we are seeing a lot of lawyer working for EA.Don't get me wrong,I am not talking about you.

so fifa 10 is amazing!! and pes2010 looks to be the best pes for years , so for the 1st time ever im gonna have to own both!!

unless pes2010 is no good then ill stick with fifa

yep an i will also play both proud, Fifa is very good an i love PES, even if PES turns out to be amazing and destroys Fifa i will still keep it for a rainy day.:))

why not have both, if they both good an you like them your just missing out. Got both since fifa 05 an pes 4 an got both at midnight since fifa 07:))sad anit but i love football games:COOL:

Right I'm a pro evo fan, gave up on pes2008, pes2009 took ages for me to get into, but was an improvement, flirted with Fifa 08 and 09 aswell, good games but no the same as PES.

So I bought Fifa on Friday mostly cause it was £25, and yeah it's a good game, smooth, good gameplay, however, I'm bored already, you can only score with 1 on 1's or crosses, the collision system is awful, the graphics are poor.

So I decided to play the PES2010 Demo again, and I love it, even though it's buggy, It's a better looking game, just hit a great shot from Villa, and got more excited than 2 days playing Fifa, scored a cracking header aswell.

It's just so much more playable, I'll keep fifa as my mates have it and it's worth a little play, but I'm sure PES will be awesome when released

Not sure what Fifa 10 you are playing but to say thats the only way to score is pure BS

There may be other ways, but I've played people online aswell, and that's the only way they've scored too, not once has a long range shot even gone on target, only time I've scored from outside the box was from a cross that went straight in.

Lets keep the Fifa talk to the FIFA forum, I was mentioning it to say how much I'm looking forward to PES, cause it's much more enjoyable

It's hardly fair. Sorry to pick out you, this crap goes on both ways from lots of people. Either FIFA is going to be allowed some discussion, or it isn't. Declaring the discussion over just post unleashing a controversial splat... Hmph.

I am quite happy to continue to discuss Fifa, but don't want to get told off for chatting about Fifa in the PES area.

I'd love people to defend it, show me examples that prove me wrong so I know that it's just me and not the game.

I'll even post all this in the Fifa section to get it going.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if all the teams are licensed in Europa League and Champions League? I know about PES licensing problems and I was wondering about the teams from the competitions which they have license for...Or is there a team list from the game somewhere?

PS - I ve been a PES player in my early years, starting with ISS but unfortunately moved on to FIFA 08 and 09 but this year the demo of PES 2010 has got me hooked! I am looking forward to this year's game!

Thanks and any info about the teams in the game is much appreciated!

The demo feels too similar to Fifa 09 in my opinion. Also, I'm not impressed with the little progress made in manager mode, and seeing as I play 95% offline then it's a big deal to me.

I play the PES2010 demo every day yet I haven't touched the Fifa 10 demo for a couple of weeks. I don't know why the full game will make me feel any different.

One old , hardcore fan when sees PES 2010 , would not have reacted as this video . Unless they play a totally different build of the demo... Or they are just a FIFA PC Fans .

You can as well close this thread or rename it "praise pes 2010"...everytime time someone says something critical about pes he gets insulted. IN the fifa thread 90% is criticism and bug reports and people are behaving properly.
