and the PES demo. I'm having a field day playing it. The editing community here is great, makes the game a whole lot better.

But playing FIFA is a nice, albeit different experience. :)

Boy... FIFA's release sure sucked the air out of here. It's also doing much better than its demo... so much for bashing KONAMI for releasing a non-representative demo... looks like the full FIFA10 is also a lot better than the demo...

yep got fifa 10 only cause it £26 an all my mates have got it, its good an alot better than the demo but man im so pissed about it, just all so many things that get me really pissed off, just played a game an all i saw was the ball bouncing between players in the center of the pitch for ten minutes, i was chelsea and cpu was birmingham on lengendary (hardest difficulty) oh an it is well easy on every other level, onlines a joke aswell, real madrid v chelsea is just a huge goal fest at the moment, player lower leagues is good sometimes but most the time its just sh*t cause every time you put a tackle in u push the ball to the other player that gets it.

I can wait for 23rd any more,
playing fifa is killing me but you get a minute of play that you strive for which keeps making you play it

The older members who say "i used to play PES but i'm FIFA now" players would jump on you in a nanoseconed for slating Rutters masterpiece

i might do later mate, dont get me wrong tho fifa is a great game, scratch that an amzing game. But have you got FIFA 10 mate, surley you must of played more than 10 games an if you have than tell me you havent got that feeling yet to stand up and go fu*k off, thats bullsh*t, no actualy thats wrong but have you seen all these little things like you tackle the ball and the player gets it back straight away three times in a row and online i was chelsea through on goal with drogba and arbelo chased me down and he was quicker than drogba and the worste of it is that he shrugged of drogba like he was messi, physical battles are good cause the collision system is amazing but wtf there fucking everywher, very rare that you get past a player with out a few seconds physical battle, i would not mind it at all if it was stoke v bolton but real madrid v barca is a complete diffrent thing, free kicks and chip shots are as easy as looking at the screen.

But my point is that besides all these things fifa is perfect and there are a few times were this sh*t doesnt happen an its quality and well worth playing the game for all the great things in the game but when these things occur they p*ss me off to the extent of that i will get the disc out and snap it into two because this shit is breaking the game for me anyway.:RANT:

And more onto the point is it true PES is out on the 16th?

That was before 4-5 days . Now they fix the date on 23-10-09.

I don't think it will be released early. Konami have set the date officially to october 22nd and until they don't say anything else about it, I won't get my hopes up. Maybe some online had the date wrong an several just took it over. Maybe they got confused with the NDA ending on october 15th.

well, they have to ship it at some point. if they ship on let's say the 12th, there is going to be some shops not caring about when street day is exactly. so yeah, could be.

I'm reading FIFA10 reviews with a :SHOCK: look on my face....

Anyhoo... I'm a PC gamer so I have no choice this year. If PES doesn't miraculously up its game, and if EA releases a next-gen PC game, I could call it quits....

But something deep inside of me is telling me that they've all rushed into their conclusions. FIFA09 impressed A LOT at the beginning, but multiplayer was a nightmare of sprinting and the game became emotionless too fast.

Damn... it's gonna be hard next year because a FIFA graphical overhaul will be coming and we all know it's what EA does best...

hardcore PES or FIFA players still look for the little flaws that make or break a game though. Let's see if PES doesn't totally FAIL at the defending side of football. The part about Arbeloa bumping Drogba off the ball really bothers me though.

Look, if you're that impressed with FIFA you should just try it out first. Because every post you seem longing for it.
If you're going to keep this "I'm a PC Gamer so I'm stuck with PES" stance then you probably should just stop looking at FIFA 10 Next-gen videos. As far as I'm concerned, if you're the type that plays footie games non-stop why not just buy a console? Its definitely worth it, if you've never had a taste of FIFA's next-gen offerings.(FIFA 08-FIFA 10)

This year, I personally think KONAMI have done a good job of managing to implement the major features across all next-gen platforms. No exclusives which I think is a good thing.

As for the gameplay, PES is back to the right direction, however you look at it, and their new policy of listening to the community might pay dividens in the future. They've did it on a short notice and managed to add/bring back the stuff we wanted. I'm positive PES will be even better if they listen to community feedback in the early stages of development.

Well I play PES non-stop, but I also play strategy games and FPS games which are almost exclusive PC experiences... I also don't have time to watch TV so an HDTV wouldn't be put to good use besides playing games...

I'll always be a laptop gamer I suppose... I can only hope that EA releases FIFA'11 next-gen for PC, just to see what all the fuss is about. I can definitely use a clean, complete game after years of PES....

But yeah, the only thing that makes me optimistic about PES'2011 is the "HAVE YOUR SAY" initiative that PES productions have started... It's unprecedented and if they implement the stuff people are asking for, the game will be epic next year. The question is, does PES productions have the resources to go technical and reinvent the game's animations engine and physics... because that's what it's all about: Realistic freedom.

I agree though, PES productions have exceeded my expectations with PES 2010.
