Since John Murphy works for konami no wonder he's telling us the final game is better aftet the demo was received so poorly!!!! I mean the guy is doing his job, they need to seel this game after fifa broke all his previous selling records!!!

I mean they must be fearing the worst with such an outstanding fifa commercial success.

No offence, mate, but if Fifa is so outstanding why do you spend most of your time in this section of the forum criticising PES? Shouldn't you be playing and enjoying Fifa?

It never fails to amaze me how companies can release such abysmal demo's then spend the rest of the time trying to reassure people the final product is way better..

If I went to the client with a design and presentation, I don't ring up the next week and say hey I know that design was poor and I turned up in my undies to the presentation but the final restaurant we're doing for you guys will be the best ever, honest...

I never see any real differences between demos and the final product for any game to be honest, Nick. I can't see how much they can really do in the short time between demo and release.

Just as well I like the PES2010 demo.

You can't read properly i guess?? outstanding commercial success, they have broken their previous records and are on top of the charts. That is what i was talking about.

You are running out of arguments.

I was being general on the demo front mate TBH, though I posted on the back of this.

It could be about any company but it does seem we get nothing but reassurance from everywhere that PES demo's in particular are never like the final code etc.

Though I agree with you I can't see them altering much to the final game...

My argument still stands. You don't like PES in it's current form and I'm absolutely fine with that. I can see why people don't like it. But there's plenty of us in here that are still enjoy PES and are looking forward to PES2010 and it would be nice if the same people weren't continually trying to rain on our parade.

I'm all for criticism but there's no need to keep banging the same drum.

I'm looking forward to how it pans out off the field TBH, it's been about two years since I played the ML(spit) I'm interested to see how it feels now I am so used to full leagues...

Also to compare the difference between players, as this is beginning to be the holy grail factor... :P

Same here. I've not really touched the ML for years but it looks like Konami have made some nice changes. I know you desperately want a real-life league structure (so do I) but the ML has always taken the European superleague route and I can't see that changing. Once you get your head around the fictional aspect it's fine.

You never know, Konami may be ahead of the game with all the talk of Euro leagues at the moment.

Yeah, When they got the CL and Europa licence I was sure they would at least give us the tools to make the leagues but I'm still intrigued to see how they put it together... ;)

Off the ball movements and passing are the key factors for me. i can easily forgive things like sluggish controls, weird animations, poor physics. But i want to see a game that opens up a lot of opportunities and that does not rely on the usual patterns.

And yes visually is gonna be stunning, i can't wait to check out the stadia included in the game. FIfa is so "meh" visually.

Not a bright one are you? Hiding behind the guise of your so-called freedom of speech bollocks. Take Chris and the rest of the lads in the FIFA thread, they don't come banging in here like you do.

And for the record, this thread isn't just about praising PES, its about giving insights, we're all for the criticizing the game here, not comments that insinuate or accuse other members of having multiple accounts just because they don't share the same view as you.

Just to be crystal clear, we're not praising PES, of course we hope for it to be better than it is right now but we're just saying that we like it as it is. And you seem to have a problem with that.

There needs to be an 'on-message' 10 point bullet point 'want the fans want in PES'2011' setup. I know a lot of people will not agree but maybe run a poll and put it up, that way the most pressing issues could be sorted (or close to it) on a yearly basis.

'sigh' I'm probably just being 3 parts a niave and 2 parts desperate.

Well well, you're the one that keeps banging on the door with insinuating comments, what do you hope to gain anyway by telling us about FIFA's commercial success in here?
Most of us in here also play FIFA, so we're all aware of the success its achieving.

And your comments in here, can't be held in the same light as Chris's or Dags. At they least they bothered to contribute their views on the game properly, regardless whether it was positive or negative.

I don't contribute much on here but I am a regular reader and it seems obvious to me that your sole purpose of being on this thred is to antagonise other posters particularly those with the nerve to actually like the game (almost to the point of trolling).

With that in mind how can you be surprised or take offence when people react to you or bite at your apparent attempts at fishing for reaction.
