no offence chris but mate, the defference between the pes 2010 demo to the we 2010 demo is the difference between fifa 09 and fifa 10 (little bit over the top there:))), the response times are better, feels more fluid cause im sure you can go in more directions, alot more animations everywhere round the pitch, goalkeepers are alot better, chris mate :WORSHIP: no offence again but you gotta be crap at the game to not get past someone or run the ball out of play. passing alot better, its the same pace if anyone saying it slower or quicker but the best addition to it is the return of the konami music:)) but nah seriously its way better

Fair enough but there's as many people who will disagree with you! I was running into all the same problems as I have been in the European demo so... All I'll say is thank God we have the demos for ourselves and can test them out for ourselves. :)

Ok so WE2010 demo has better response times, and clearly better animations... but the pace is way too fast with plenty of pinball moments.... at least in the posted video.

yh fair enough chris, you seen the ign review of fifa 10 mate, 9.3 man, cant wait 3 hours away this time next week i will be playing it:))

played the we10 demo,its improved with the response times but has sacrificed the speed,its as if the put the speed up from 1 to 1.25. if the finished pes game has the response time and added animations fixed then there will be no need to buy we10

Bloody 'ell. Just tried the WE10 Demo and its definitely better IMO. I downloaded it not expecting it to be different but it is quite clearly. Its faster, Response times are better which means dribbling is now better, passing feels less clunky, moving players is better.

For the few who didn't think its different im quite suprised but you should give it another go (or give PES2010 another go in comparison) and you should see differences.

ive been playing the winning eleven demo and am loving it feels so much better just cant wait to get the full version of pes!

Just read some fifa reviews. As i said the difference this year will be so clear that even the wildest fanboy will have to admit it.

In Japan fifa fan increase every every year,last year Japan sales of fifa09 was thirty thousand.

The sales fo fifa08 was ten thousand in Japan.

Well fifa fan-boy is very noisy in Japan too:P

The sales of WinningEleven2009 was three hundred thousand,but many japanese people maybe feel the value Fifa09 was better than WE2009.

And it's a well-deserved lead, I must say. The other game has invested in a next-gen engine 4 years ago... It should pay off now, and for many years to come.

But then again, I never expected, in my wildest dreams, that PES2010 would look so gorgeous, graphically speaking of course. My biggest hope was to see a game comparable to FIFA09... But they produced a game way beyond FIFA10, again graphically only of course...

But then again, next-gen animation and physics engines are way, way more complicated than lighting and colors... so, I wouldn't bet on a sudden improvement in the remaining departments in the near future.... (but then again didn't they hire like a dzillion new ppl at PES productions? It's possible...)

in terms of animations it's not that different from 2009. What was the point of those gorgeous graphics if the animations are only a slight improvement?

I dont want to provoke an arguement here, but i dont see what is so special about pes2010 graphics?? Yes they are better than last year, but a lot of the effect comes from an overdone lighting effect, and when you get up close it all looses its 'shine', some of the faces are good (an area in which pes has always been good) but again a lot of faces are just overdone and make a few players (pirlo for example) look like he is 80 years old.

I know its something you have been pushing for Knight, with the inverse kinetics, and i agree, i would much prefer better footplanting and prevent the skating around the pitch and making the physics (especially on collisions) better. Rather than improving the lighting. Would be interesting to see without that lighting technique used, just how close to pes 2009 it looks

Animations in Pes 2010 are better too becuase in Pes 2008/2009 were terrible.Animations isn't one thing if you want judge the game.A lot of things make gameplay not only movements.

if you want a "simulation" then you have to have it move like a simulation, i agree its better than than the last two but is it really that step up that was required? i dont think so.

i've been talking to the cvg.co.uk guys on twitter and some of them are die hard pes players but even they are saying Konami really needs a serious kick up the back side in certain aspects, if FIFA 09 didnt deliver that then FIFA 10 will.

I'm only criticising because I believe if it was done right across the board, the Pro Evo series would still be the best but that potential is not getting realised.
