Hehe, I think it's called clipping Placebo mentioned it the demo thread methinks. Apparently it happens in both PES and FIFA and is not going away. I had a few highlights and screenies of it on my PC at work I was going to start a MK vs PES thread but didn't for obvious reasons. I had limbs and heads twisted backwards as well as a few players falling over as if they have been shot without a player in a 10m radius.
Why does this happen ? I understand its this collision detection thing. I have just never really noticed it in other PES games. Or if it was there it wasnt blatant enough for me to notice.
Please, can someone tell me that these type of incidents will/should be rectified for the full release ?

Lami, you're right, I already noticed this. It's certainly due to a mistake, perhaps the japanese person who did the picture didn't know that it was the DFB logo.

Yes, but the second sentence in my post was about the picture with the England national team, Konami has made a mistake with the logo (not the FA logo but the DFB one).

Clipping happens to an extent to all videogames, but a blatantly poor collision detection like that use to happen in pes next-gen games most of the time.
I really can't understand people that overanazlyzes every pixel saying they never saw this before, are you kidding me?
In only 20 matches in the demo I witnesses all sorts of lame collision detection, even 2 corpses going through each other and reappearing at the other side at the end of a "scramble". Simply unacceptable for nowaday's standards.
And collision detection is not exactly the same as dull mocap info put into animations. What Placebo stated was about mocap data rushed into the game in a bad way. We can't know if animations will get more polished in the end product, but I assure you collision detection won't be much better, that's NOT something you "polish" in three weeks.
The thing collision detection and animation engine have in common is that given a collision, match it with the suitable animation. As they are quite short in the animation department right now, sometimes you get, for example, the player falling backwards when you would expect him to fall sideways.
But having a player HEADING a ball THROUGH another is simply a very bad thing.

Embarassing videos honestly, you'd expect gametrailers to put videos where someone can play the game at a proper difficulty setting. That's utter crap. But gametrailers is very microsoft/EA biased so things from them always need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

i suggest you guys download winning eleven 2010 demo(need to create japanese account) ..much better than the pes 2010 demo..response time also much better than pes 2010 which is a good thing..
