Strange the preview doesn't even touch upon the animations. May be he decided to wait for the final version to make up his mind on them. Its very positive though :D

Pace looks very good. The animations are massively improved, and the game seems so much more fluid. It seems like alot of the niggles have gone. I'm really happy to see so many stray passes as well. The pass isnt on for the most part and I'm glad to see the 40/60, 30/70 passes dont magically find their destination.

Regardless of all its faults thats where 2009 was so far removed from 2008, and I'm glad it's still the same. It's going to require thought to play football and the way the players are getting behind the ball makes it even tighter, and much better for it.

Very happy with that to be honest. Didnt see the full player stats list though when they paused it ?? Please dont tell me thats gone ffs ? Surely not.

Knight, I watched it direct from Youtube and it was far better quality. But I guess you probably already knew that.

That last vid is the first ive seen of PES 10 thats impressed me, reminded me of pes on ps2 when it was good, the scoreboard and timer looks gay still but really impressed overall,

I was a very tight angle, on his left foot. He couldnt have dont much better from that position. I would have been unhappy if it had gone in, or the keeper had spilled it. He had no right to score. You would hope you would only see one of those fly in the far corner every 10 attempts and with either a left footed world class player or likewise player with two feet.

By the way, I made a new illustration captured from today's game (Man U vs Arsenal) showing my suggestion for realistic customizable cameras (where the camera doesn't fly into the pitch, but instead tilts and zooms)....

Not only does it look much better and realistic (3D preserved), but also offers a wider playable view with more options where you see more of the pitch without looking at the radar...

Hmmm... to me this is looking very good already. With more animations and working online I can't imagine how lovely this game will be.

They did say the were adding alot of animations in the final stretch, hopefully there is alot more to come. Usually this talk by Konami is rightly taken with a barrel load of salt as Fremm quite rightly said. But on the basis of this new code, it looks like they are actually keeping true to their word this time.

Thats what I was thinking, surely not though. That stank of wishful thinking. He is either a fraud, a very lucky predicter, a gypsy or ...... Surely not ???

How ironic would it be it the first time Konami stick to their word is the year the annual phantom prophet turns out to be legitimate.

Running animations are slightly improved but still the same and robotic.
Some of it are great though, like the Trochowski one
