Look what a guy at Operation Sports wrote. He played the new NBA 2k10 as well as Pro Evo 2010:

"That's all I can really think of right now. But after seeing both 2k and EA's games this year, I think the status quo will remain the same. 2k=Basketball and EA=Hockey. Neither will get SGOTY though. That should go to PES 2010. THAT game is ****ing amazing."

I mean, look at the way the game flows ultra-smoothly with all those real-time fans animations, player physics and animations, along with the gorgeous cloth AND hair physics running beautifully at the same time.

Granted, the number of fans and players are much more in a soccer game, but sports games are generally not as exhaustive as 3rd person and FPS games like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2... where thousands of particles are dispersed in the air in a matter of milli-seconds, each with its own lighting, shadows, and physics trajectory simultaneously.

i think 2k hockey looks much better this year, so its all down to opinion..

Can we stop talking about the GOD AWFUL Gamescom version of PES2010? After seeing the new build video (which _anderson is kindly reuploading), it's pretty clear that PES2010 is in fact a lot better at this point than the rubbish shown at Gamescom.

Yeah i know,you didn't like the game.Reason was just response time?.And you think,game is better than pes 2009.Everybody says it's really different game and you will shock when the demo come.Am i wrong?

Its more PES 2009 than PES 6. Maybe the new version is way better but from the riot video it looks like the response time is the same as in the gamescom code. Its so funny how Fifa is now the better game when it comes to responsiveness. Im very curious for the demo tbh to see if its fixed.

Dude, maybe silly but i think,KONAMI fixed online lag problem with response time.

I don't like that sometimes when players are sprinting and pass, there is no follow through, the ball just flies off their boot. Looks very unrealistic and arcadey.

Wow! that last vid looked very impressive. The pace of the game looked perefect! animations looked smooth and didn't I spot any funny looking running animations. The game just looked very different from the other vids we have seen. It looked like a real match on tv to be hones. I am pre-ordering the game in a few minutes. I think this year we will inded have our old beloved PES game back.

Really can't wait..
