Mmm... can't find one...
Anyway it seems to be a game of the Netherlands vs Italy, and the pace is just perfect, ball speed is great, 360 movement is all over the place, lighting is great..... It's a poor camera video though and the camera shows other games as well... But so far so, so good.

I do fight the cause Nick, the fact your a Mod on PES board, a game you have mentioned many times that you dont even play or like speaks volumes. The whining comment doesnt surprise me either.
I find it very funny that I posted a comment the other day highlighting the fact that people who prefer Fifa feel the need to come onto a PES board and try to tell us how good Fifa is and how bad PES is, usually hiding under the pseudonym of "And I'm supposed to be a PES Fanboy" crap.
And the fact I could not find one post on the FIFA 10 thread where a PES fan had gone on there and berated their game of choice ? I was challenged in my comment so I asked them to highlight where a supposed 'PES Fanboy' had made derogatory comments on the 'other board' ?
Guess what ? All three posts were deleted ? why is that Nick ?
The same goes for Jamezinho's light hearted joke post, that was deleted.
Its like there is one rule for one and one for another. With massive Fifa bias.
Please, I gave myself the PES Fanboy moniker in jest. But the tag doesnt fit the pre-ordained conception. I have made two posts on the Fifa 10 thread. Both of which were sincere and positive.
All us true PES fans want is a fair crack of the whip on OUR own board. Is that too much to ask ?
Also, true PES fans wont be offended by my TRUE PES fan statement. Why would they ?
This post will probably be deleted to. I'll keep a copy for reference.

What is it you're after, an only positive post site, where fawning and crowing are the only things allowed.
Like a lot of people on here I played PES because I loved the game and I thought it was the best at representing football at a simulation level for me, once edited with the thanks of these guys on here it would consume months of my life.
I didn't buy it because I bought into Konami's so called philosophy, I bought it because it was the best product on the market.
Konami are a massive company making massive money, they aren't full of zen masters or guys in their bedrooms trying to change the world and bring out a niche product.
I also think EvoWeb and this forum is full of like minded people, just because it's not modded to death and free debate is allowed and yes we get some blinkered idiots from both sides of the fence sometimes does not make it bad.
Comparisons are inevitable I'm afraid, you will never stop that, as long as they are relevant I still don't see an issue, if it was not FIFA then it would be some other title.
As you are the self appointed 'Fanboy' in here, stop whining about it and fight your cause...

It's easy to explain, in the fifa thread we hardly even compare the game to pes as pes has very little left that is superior. And what it does have superior is pretty much agreed throughout the fifa players. Generally the group over there is balanced in it's opinion and will call a spade a spade. Come into the pes thread and it reeks of deperation about builds, 360 yes/no, "this game is the bestest ever, I mean look at Torres' face in super close up", "this game sucks", etc, etc.
Come into the pes thread and every other post is about fifa (either pro or bashing) combined with a fair amount of fanboys who will have no ill word said against pes. You see it's just fun to read them foaming at the mouth.
The same goes for your argument about Messi being able to technically hit a cross like that even though the animation doesn't represent it, extending that argument would mean you could have 22 static players with no running, shooting, movement animation floating across the screen but if you press the button at the right moment technically the ball can infact make that trajectory. And people will laud the game for it.
It's an exagerated comment, but its symptomatic for this thread. Aslong as you don't take it seriously this thread is a wonderfully entertaining read. The fifa10 thread in turn is a wonderfully balanced discussion 99% of the time.

Hmmmm, for the sensative in here maybe. But I won't pander for the few when making a reasonable response to Jimmy's post.
Saying that the majority of fifa players consider fifa to be superior in most aspects of the game whilst accepting its faults and pes' qualities is hardly provacative. Unless you have the same mental capacity as Adam.
Saying that the PEs thead is mostly an argument pro/con with fifa is obvious to anyone.
Exagerating Jimmy's argument is very valid as an example of the level of denial people will go to to defend pes.
Saying that you shouldn't take this thread, or forums for that matter, seriously is an obvious statement anyone with half a braincell will agree upon.

Good point and I think this is taken for granted around here. The other big PES sites tuck Fifa away, hidden from view in the 'other gaimg' section.
And, the Fifa section isn't exactly holier than thou. There is plenty of PES bashing going on in there too. Some people need to respect that this is a PES fansite first and foremost. The fact that Fifa is viewed as the better game by many is almost irrelevent. Just look at the amount of people that are in the PES editing section at any given time, and how many people view this thread when news hits.
A little more respect for those that love PES and want to have decent converstaions about it, that's all I'm trying to say.

I'd not seen these mag scans. What's this about top-line stats? That is one of the things I dislike most about Fifa 09. Why would they copy this? I like that in PES all of the player stats are displayed out front in the formation screen. Personally I see no reason to dumb this down to an overall number.

I dont like it either. All the stats should still be there to view, I think they have just got rid of the hexagonal diagram. Which is a bad move. But Konami do love to pull these stunts year in, year out. Why ? Lord only knows.

Pes6 is a solid 8, played with gentlemen it can be a 9. Played vs cpu is a 7. 2v2 on line without lag and cutbacks and with small teams it can be a 10.

Definitely a mistake. The way the team selection and tactics menus were presented in PES is one of it's strong points, and by going with top line stats it seems they have tried to copy one of Fifa's weaker points.
