The game is so f*cking fast even Seabass is resorting EXCLUSIVELY to sideplay, and cutbacks.

If they slowed it down a bit, maybe players can start identifying empty spaces, shooting opportunities, through passes...etc. This is really a shame.

seabass video looke very good IMO.

Ballack goal showed much better animation and although it was a tad fast, it sure looked nice.

Adam said they were as they were in 09, but that he didn't see anything wrong with them last year either.

As far as the shape goes, I prefer them to the standardized nets in use in the Premier League. They look a bit like an older style, more movement in them, and the net physics and textures are much better than FIFA's.

I quite liked that Seabass vid, I kept willing the little guy on.

What was crystal clear to me was how the game seemed like a much more defensive affair, it will be interesting to see how that translates into the demo build.

i don´t know if it´s just me but seems that seabass is not enjoying his own game, seems that he´s thinking something like: "Damn, i hope this game ends soon so i can enter in the line to play fifa in EA stand" :LOL:

Nah it's not that. He's used to the newer build so it's just so frustrating for him to play the older one. :D

Seabass is a smart guy, he'll come around. The problem is that time is not on his side. If he plays the game with the same passion that we have, then I'm sure he'll figure out the mistakes that he and his team has done, and the work that needs to be done.

I really enjoyed the Seabass vid. Shame we don't have translations. Given both players were also being talked to I think they played rather well.

It's crystal clear that the seabass-game was NOT played with the same version on the Gamescom floor.
Makes sense as the man from Jeuxvideo has got the same version as PESFan and WENB has. The game was slower, passing better ans the contact on the ball was there. That was not the case in that video where Henry scored after that funny Messi-cross. Henry made no contact with the ball. Ballack did at the seabass-goal.
That means the Gamescom demo is indeed ( 2 months ) older than the one the media received.

Videos are depressing.. how can people at konami and their testers look at these animations and think it looks alright?? For every lil simple move the player do this over the top robotic animation... smh

The pace of the game is a lot better in that video, definitely looks different to the build on the show floor.

I love how SeaBass gets pissed right before conceding his gols becuase his sideback goes bananas...

That's a typical PES flaw, your side back goes on vacation...easy cross and easy gol.

if someone could translate japanes...i am sure he is saying " f....ers, how many times did i tell them to fix this bug???"

The animations don't bother me that much. It wasn't a problem for me even in pes 09. Maybe the running and turning animations are a bit bad but i can live with them.

If they get the balance of the game right, defending issues fixed and the pace down, it will be a good game for me.

The gameplay videos of the new fifa are looking fantastic and i really hope i could like a game that looks like that. what killed fifa 09 for me was the lack of inviduality of the palyers. Every player felt almost the same and it looks like it is not going to change this year. So at this point it looks like i'm going to have to stick with pes.

LOL first time I find funny one of your "interesting" messages about PES here, and that does not mean you are not right about the SB going AWOL...

Dont take too seriously that video. If you look at the video, the aspect ratio is completely different to the videos we have seen at the moment, which are in 16:9. If you look at carefully in Seabass goal, when replaying, the screen gets the correct aspect ratio (16:9) for a moment, then it is back to a square aspect ratio to see again Seabass and the french guy. So, at least to evaluate the pace of the game, this video is completely useless IMO.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun to see Seabass celebrate ^^

Most important thing for me will be the online mode. Not much talk about that at the moment. The online part was absolutely horrible on pes2008. I never bought 2009, but i read the forums and online wasnt good for this version either. So, i will play the demo. If i like it i will still wait, at least a month after release to see everyone's reaction to the online mode. If i like the demo and the online works this time, maybe i will buy it. Online part is a dealmaker/breaker factor for me.

I'm actually warming to the game, especially after seeing that video.

It seemed a lot more polished to me.

Hi Cammey

I think it looked great, you can defo see more smoothness in the animation and general gameplay.

I think it will be great fun to play mate even if it does not replicate the beautiful game beautifully well.
