I decided to stop lurking and register an account to weigh in on this. You couldn't be anymore right on this aspect. There can be no other reason for this amazing decision by Konami. I just can't believe the xbox's hardware limited them on implementing basic analogue control. This entire situation screams of "shit we need to implement 360 movement NOW!" and they just didn't have the manpower to commit to both consoles at the same. Especially true considering how different it is to program for both consoles (PS3 programming made me want to jump out a window while xbox reminded me of my young dumb PC days).

I'm just so ..... disappointed by this megaton (assuming this is Adam's megaton) announcement and needed to vent a little. Everything else sounds awesome and I'm glad the Germans are finally getting represented as well.

Well he say " 360 is ON " so it's PS3. But he say " Tricks are on Right Analog , but PESFAN say they are still on D-Pad.I am quite confused

"I regret to inform I'm not able to comment on the game's new 360 degree movement control, as this is a feature that has apparently been left out of the Xbox version's current build due to technical limitations of the hardware. We are informed that this will feature on the Playstation 3, and perhaps 360 control on the Xbox is something the makers are looking into for the near-future."

Hmm... apparently PESfan doesn't have the PC code, so can't confirm if there is 360 degree movement in it. I really, really do hope there is, I'll be very pissed off if its only on the PS3.

maybe now we will be able to make something like Ajax nets (with a wide stripe of red in the middle)..... in all the other PES games we just had the 3x3 net tile in games graphic studio, which was almost useless (the tile not ggs ;) )

that doesnt suprise me... what does is that the europa league has supposedly been left out of pc, now thats simply bizarre.

Clearly both previewers are just saying in the current, beta builds of PES the only system using 360 is the PS3. No way would Konami do that, Microsoft would turn around and rip them a new one. They simply cannot be that stupid.

Edit: Oh. Maybe they are that stupid. Anyone got some nails? I've got this PES coffin I've been working on...

Guys, I just got confirmation by Konami that there WILL be 360 controlling on the Xbox 360 and PC versions, too. I'll post more on this later, stay tuned. And stay calm. PESFan only mixed something up.
