I'd love to hear and explanation from them, they've just alienated part of their user base. No doubt MS aren't happy about this.

Eurogamer preview

Elsewhere Konami has tightened the AI, particularly goalkeepers, who can't be rounded so easily, with manual control returning for them as well.

Will 360 degree movement be in the game?

Yes, but Konami have stated this will only be on the Playstation 3 version.

This is what the boss (person who wrote the PES fan preview) has posted about the 360 issue:

"The 360 movement is not an issue at all it does not change the game in anyway, please do not focus on this I promise you its not a big deal and more detail will be revealed on this shortly."

In the 360 eurogamer preview they mentioned that the new 360 control wasn't very apparant and that a lot of the new "smoothness" felt down to the new animations.

Can I use the word f*** around here? Because I really feel the need to If this is really true I will hate konami forever and buy 5 Fifa games just to raise EAs selling numbers. This can't actually be true

I'm already upset with the missing import feature but this would be simply too much!

what do you mean no proper edit mode? isn't it the same as in ps3 version?

you cant use the a flash drive to copy and transfer option files on xbox

I was always going to buy a PS3 just for PES 2010 as I want the option files, chants, etc etc. And with the news that the PS3 now has 360 and irony that the Xbox 360 doesnt, that is the excuse I need.

Bad from Konami, but a definate decison on the PS3 purchase from my perspective is now a no-brainer.

It smacks of trying to keep up with EA and steal some thunder, maybe they were working on this for 2011 and are rushing it out now, they may have it ready for the PS3 as they may do most of their testing on it...

Are there any German teams in the game

There is no specific German league however both Champions League and Europa League are licensed this year (consoles only) and should account for a few German teams being in the final game.

No Europa League on PC.

I'm a PS3 owner and don't care about the Xbox, but tecnical limitations? I can't quite get my head around that one...

Didn't old games on the SNES have 360 movement?

I am not happy about the ¨the loss of the occasionally ambiguous skill pentagon in favour of a 1-100 player rating more akin¨, i think it is a chilish way to select your players.

So far so good anyway, it looks like the game is on the right direction, sooner or later we'll get another great game from konami. This still feels like a transition year.

Question being: will it be better than a nicely platched pes6??

Whose to say 360 won't be on PC? The tester on PESFan believes the 360 movement isn't really a big deal which is sort of good if PC and 360 owners don't get it. PC gamers get shafted quite a lot these days, just like at Fifa 09 and the new Fifa 10 both not being next gen.

I can't see there ever being a non-transition year. I hope I'm wrong. I hope it is better than a PES6 patched game as it would be pretty embarrassing after 3 years if the gameplay hasn't been bettered than on that game
